LOL

All the dudes who have been rooting for the Knicks to lose all season can't wait to see the NBA's sixth man of the year go...I guess if I wanted to Knicks to lose as well I would be in the same camp...

who are you... houdini? i never root for my team to lose. i just knew the team would not achieve what it should have... emphasis on "should." he is not a winner.

CASE CLOSED

If u thought this team didn't achieve what they should have, why did you have them finishing between 3rd and 7th seed???..A little revisionist history..A little shift of the goal post once they started winning???..When the Knicks were beating Boston, all of you, the anit-Knick crew disappeared..You didn't post...Same dudes that came alive again after the Indy series...

lets stick with deeds not words, even if you're wrong about my words which is a subject for a later and secondary discussion.

he is a self-destructive CLOWN. his deeds speak for themselves.

words? okay they finished 2nd in the conference for the regular season but were beaten-- soundly-- by the 3rd seed.

do you know what that makes the knicks ultimately, "ultimately" as in "the real season"?

a team that is in reality somewhere between the 3rd and 7th ranked team in the conference.

you got anything else?

U want a guy being paid 2 mil a year to pick up the slack for a guy making 20 mil per, who by the way u admittedly still want to build this franchise around..He hasn't given us anything in 2 1/2 years..JR was a gift that fell into our laps..If u care about winning which I doubt, JR might the the best and only option this offseason..But again, we know u are on your knees praying for Melo to fail so why bother...

why are you bringing stoudemire into this? the plan to build around stoudemire was destroyed february 2010. even if healthy he would be marginalized because melo does not play well enough with others let alone make others better. have you looked closely at the way he and stoudemire play together? it is a farce. no chemistry at all. they can't even run a pick and roll together. the two of them and chandler cannot be much better.

if you are serious about being paid to win then you don't go out drinking and drugging during the playoffs. smith is unstable as a person and a player. there are no two ways about it. only doofuses reward this idiots. you may be in luck-- grunwald is pretty much a doofus or an intelligent but feckless cog if he re-signs a loser like smith.

but i see what you are trying to do here: you figure that so long as stoudemire is injured you have an easy scapegoat to distract from the team underachieving.

gift? jr came cheap but at a price-- that is not a gift.

lin was a gift. hell even fields was a gift.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Agree totally. After that debacle in the playoffs, ****, forget this guy. He disappeared in the playoffs last year too if you remember....That's TWO years in a row now this guy has pulled a disappearing act in the playoffs when we needed him most...And during the regular season he's a ultra low % freelancer that's given way too much freedom in this offense. Yeah he's talented, year he's in his prime -- I get all that. But he's unreliable, bottom line. And just think, if we want him back we'll have to sign his brother Chris to a deal too to appease him?!? No thanks man. Go get me any 2 of these 4: Jermaine Taylor, Chris-Douglas Roberts, Jamelle Horne, Gerardo Sureo -- and we more than make up for JR Smith's offense, size, athleticism, shooting, you name it. We'd also get younger, conserve money and keep that Chris Smith roster spot open for a much better player. No brainer for me to let him walk..

I would like to resign JR on the cheap. He isn't worth breaking the bank off over.

You say that like its a bad thing. You have the pleasure of being able to look at this in hindsight so theres no way you could support a plan to build around Amare at this point.

Just ignore them and enjoy the Knicks games. LOL it sure was funny they vanished during the playoffs until the Knicks lost and then like buzzards they flew over the Knicks when we lost. You can't change them they will be the biggest loosers.

You're right. Just because we don't love Stephony Marbury, James Dolan and Isiah Thomas, we're rooting for the Knicks to lose. Oh wait, wrong Knicks Era. But deja vu all over again with your posts.

OrangeBOObs or Crossdresser???..Which is it..TrueBlue?? or SeatsBlue???..Non the less, the Gallo loving crew, still waiting for him to come of age and hate anything that cut short his Knick career...U still posting in the keep track of Gallo career thread???...

I'm nobody and everybody at the same time. But more importantly, I'm someone who wont put up with BS when I read it. I don't care about Gallinari so I have no idea why you're even mentioning it. I guess it's because you're attempting to prove someone else wrong when you were just called out for your own buffoonery. You've been wrong countless times and, unsurprisingly, you're wrong again now.

Stephon Marbury has a shrine in China he wants you to visit. Make sure you take some pictures for us.

Knicks was 2nd seed this year in the East and won 54 games after dumping MDA and Donnie..I'll say we are right on track with Melo and the new crew...Who was wrong about the trade again????...It the signing of Amare by Donnie and getting MDA his guy that is holding us back...We will fight thru it tho...

lol @ the Knicks winning 54 games because they got rid of Walsh. What an awful post. Really, truly awful.

I'm not going to let you change the subject, though. You have been wrong on nearly everything you have ever said, specifically rooting for awful, cancerous players like Stephon Marbury, Eddy Curry, Jamal Crawford and everyone under the Isiah Thomas regime. In fact, you still root for them now. You apologize for Dolan despite a decade of awful basketball. You're wrong and you've been wrong all the time. Stop trying to right that point. You wouldn't know basketball if it hit you in the face. You come on here talking all this talk and acting like a know it all when your track record is awful. Stop trying to act like you know what's going on because you don't.

And no, Amare Stoudemire is not holding the team back from anything. Mike Woodson and Glen Grunwald, the mediocre coach and GM combo Dolan has given us via Isiah, is holding us back. I don't think I need to repeat why. Woodson's playoff track record speaks for itself and Grunwald is a mediocre GM who gives out terrible contracts to overachievers like Chandler and Novak, as well as guys like Alvin Williams and Antonio Davis in Toronto. Once again, you're wrong. Get used to it.

Bro Im guilty of rooting for all Knick players...I just don't try to over project the upside of mediocre guys like Gsllo..Can't root for a coach that doesn't emphasis defense ...He was bad hire and I said it from day one..My guess is who ever u are, MDA was your guy...Woodson went 18-6 after MDA left..So if he is so terrible, what does that say about the cat u were pulling for?.

I don't think anyone here hates the Knicks. There's a group here that hates dumb owners, dumb basketball, dumb coaches, and dumb players.

The main reason I like the Knicks is because I'm from NY and I have a nostalgic attachment to them, and Anthony Mason is one of my favorite players of all time. But I'm sure as hell envious of the organization that the Spurs, Rockets, OKC, and Utah have. It doesn't mean I hate the Knicks because I can appreciate how proper basketball organizations are managed, and the types of players they draft and retain.

You keep talking about Gallinari and Mike D'Antoni as if I give a damn. I don't know who you think I am but you're failing hard. I don't care about people who aren't here anymore. I care about the people in this organization presently.

Worry less about me and more about yourself and the way you 'debate' with others.

Everyone knows who I am. I never changed my handle. You can ask around or simply read my posts and you'll know. I like feta and gyros. I like spinach pie. Kosta Papanikolaou would be my favorite player on the team if he ever played here. That's a big enough hint.

But in classic holfresh fashion you're making it about me and not you. Trying to deflect from yourself again. I wont let that happen here. You're the one that needs to man up and admit you're almost always wrong and stop insulting or "calling out" people. The nerve of someone like you to "call out" anyone...LOL.

Ha...Your every discussion with me you bring up Isiah and Marbury, yet you are here telling me you don't want to talk about the people who aren't here...I can't address Woodson's playoff record because Im not going to pretend I was paying attention to what Atlanta was doing in the playoffs while he was coaching...Honestly I don't care what guys do before they get to NY...I care what happens when they get here...You are constantly saying I insult people..How have I insulted you in the past???...And since Im constantly wrong , what have I been wrong about??..You are so focused on me, lets hear it...You say I support the WRONG type of players and coaches...Care to tell me what type of people I need to support.???

Woodson's lack of playoff success and his failed offense in Atlanta based on Joe Johnson ISO's was a big huge red flag to me. What people do before they arrive is a huge indicator of what they'll do when they get here. Melo has not changed his game, Woodson has not changed his poor coaching, and both are continuing their lack of playoff success.

Can you point to a playoff series in Atlanta where Woodson's team should have won that he actually lost???..Joe Johnson and Josh Smith aren't winners...They just don't play hard..But since it matters Im sure you have examples...I know for sure that I remember a particular series that they excelled...

2009-2010 Atlanta Hawks lose 4 straight to Orlando Magic (2nd round)
2008-2009 Atlanta Hawks lose 4 straight to Cleveland Cavaliers (2nd round)

A decent coach should be able to win at least 1 game at home.

In 2007/8..ATL was 37-42..They lost to a Boston team that was 66-16 that went on to win the Championship..

In 2008/9 ATL was 47-35..Beat the Heat 43-39 first round and lost to Cleveland (66-16) in the second round...

In 2009/10 ATL was 53-29 beat Mil (46-36) and lost to Orlando (59-23) in the second round ...Orlando was in the Finals the year before...

So the gripe against Woodson is that he should have won at least one game against ORL or CLE???..He took the Champions to 7 games as a 37 win team, don't count?..He must be improving because we won a game against the Championship Heat last year...

Woodson first year ATL won 13 games...His last year they won 53...Thanks for making me do the research...I more than wholeheartedly give my complete support to Mike Woodson as coach of this team...

Mike Woodson is not why the Knicks lost to the Pacers. The Pacers won because they had better players. U can give me regular season all u want but their lineup is better a lot better.

Mike Woodson was the reason why we lost to the Pacers Period.

The guys we needed to make a difference to balance out the team against the Pacers Camby , Copeland and Novak were either not used at all or in a very ,limited role when we couldn't spread the floor & score or reb or defend the basket.

Come on man seriously Copeland was effective and should of played more but Novak would of been embarrassed defensively. Camby? the guy hadnt played all season. Those guys are in no way enough to put us over the top. Not when the Pacers have an advantage at 4 0f the 5 spots on the floor.

Fringe players werent beating the Pacers, Not with Melo,Chandler and JR Smith playing poorly.Had those 3 played to regular season averages then those fringe guys might of gave them a chance. I look at Pacers roster and see a much better team then the Knicks. I would much rather have that roster

Those fringe players would have made the game easier for the guys you just mentioned.

I hated watching that series knowing would could have competed much better.

We weren't going to beat the Pacers by out defending them, our roster was created that way. We would have to out score them.

You ever heard of zone defense ? Their shooters weren't that good.

Right now, I'm ambivalent on resigning JR. For $5 mill a year, it's a good value sign. I'm also okay with JR bolting, the past 2 playoffs leave a foul stench.

Fine with JR staying, as long as he's not the 2nd option again. Hoping Shump can take a leap forward somehow next season. It's our only hope with this current team.
