Go zone and play Cope not only for his shooting but Hibbert would have to come out of the lane and just have Felton attack David West in PnRs. Then if Hibbert shows Cope is open for the wing or corner 3. Indy is the type of team if you get up on they breakdown and would stop featuring Hibbert.

I agree with this. Its MDA basketball but it also got a Suns team a win from the NBA finals with no Amare and Boris Diaw playing center. Start Amare at the 5

Down with either playing Amare at the 5 and forcing Hibbert out to guard Amare's J or
Playing Cope at 5 and forcing Hibbert to stress out on defense.

Hibbert has been spending way too much time just camped in the paint protecting the rim.

If we get our asses kicked like we have the last few games and Woodson doesn't at least try this out I will be very shocked.

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

Also Zach Lowe did a breakdown on how exactly Indy's D is shutting us down.

http://www.grantland.com/blog/the-triangle/post/_/id/62315/a-tale-of-two-offenses-the-spurs-get-back-to-business-and-the-knicks-file-for-bankruptcy

The first part of that article shows a smart adjustment that Pop made to the Warriors D. Obviously the Pacers D is way better but I hope Woody has something up his sleeve and the players can execute whatever that is.

Other than going super small to force Hibbert to cover Cope, anyone else have any ideas?

Win game 5 and the pressure mounts on the young Pacers

No less a Knicks evil ghost than Reggie Miller has stated this emphatically, almost gleefully to Mike Fatcessa yesterday.

Of course, this was right before FatIncessant started talking about how difficult close out games are in the playoffs. Then the M&M's go out and do just that last night.
Please Mike, retire already!

JR is looking skyward humbly and God will answer his prayers tonight.
Melo and Tyson make nice. Melo curses his own O in honesty. "Our O is sh-t" He will be Home tonight.

Now starting:
Melo
Tyson
Amare
Shump (Now appearing as Young Willis Reed) Facilitate son, it puts less pressure on that knee!
JR (Sorry Ray, but we need to get the boy going early)

Sloppy 2nds:
Prigs
Felton
Camby
Novak
Cope

JKidd (headstart that coaching career)

Usually not a fan of Kate Upton but she looks good in that last picture

home cooking is one thing but this game is going to be the measure of the leadership, character, and collective will of this group. when the chips are down and the odds are against you what do you do?

who is the leader of this team again? never quite figured that one out and that's been a lingering problem among several others.

character, will, leadership

that's what's at stake tonight.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Isola of all people still thinks we'll win the series! Says unlike most teams that were down 3-1, we are still the higher seed and so have home court advantage. He's been very enthusiastic about the team this season. Just don't see it myself, I think we've dug ourselves too big a whole and our confidence has completely gone this series- just not playing with any poise or spirit.

Just watching the last game..Hibbert hits everyone who comes in the lane with his body...Mostly non calls...It's like a block shot...He hits people so hard with the body that it alters their shots...And I mean everyone that comes in the lane...I guess it's great defense if u can get away with it...

The problem is not everyone can get away with it. Bulls certainly couldn't against the Heat.

D.J. Augustine will start in place of George Hill, according to Frank Vogel. Brooklyn's Lance Stephenson will also handle the ball for Indy
