What most knicks fans have forgotten is this team was built to allow every component to function during a game whether it's being a defender or a 3 pt specialist etc...
When we sat Novak, we didn't replace him, therefore our offense became stagnant again with ISO ball, because one of our components to winning offensively wasn't being utilize.
When Copeland was inserted, it allowed other players like Felton, Prigs, J.R, Melo to have more room to drive with out help defenders stopping them in their tracks by creating turnovers.
Now when Copeland isn't playing , Novak should be inserted for a few minutes to keep defenses honest or pay the price by leaving him open. No more Kidd and Amare experiments unless the games is out of reach.
This is how Woody should tighten his rotation.
