SAS had a vet quote where he said they stopped doing what the coach said and played the way they felt had to to win. Dantoni lasted almost 2 more seasons and left only because he resigned with pay. Woodson isn't going anywhere. The guy has accomplished stuff that hasn't happened in ny in over a decade. I'm tired,I'm tired, I'm so tired right now......Kristaps Porzingis 1/3/18

He did it even when he didn't have a single player over 6'9" going up against bigger teams. Woody has talented team and his opportunity to step up as a coach. It's not over yet. Woody can still get his team to the ECF's which was the potential for this team. So far he hasn't done a good job and hasn't even approached the level that MDA has already achieved in the NBA, so before you continue to disrespect MDA as a coach think about that in comparison to how Woody has done in the playoffs. I haven't totally closed the book on Woody. I don't like what he's been doing but he still has a chance to step up. Woody has to re-inspire this team and get them mentally right for tomorrow. It's not impossible that he finds a way to get thru to his players, but he's done some damage IMO. He's gonna have to fix some upset players and some mentally broken players. He's got one more shot to get the job done. |

My response was to the suggestion that Woodson's job is in jeopardy because he is down 3-1 in the coference semis after winning the Atlantic and getting to 54 wins in his first full season. I don't think his job is in jeopardy and I don't think Grunwald/Dolan has a quick hook. The Knicks haven't won at a rate like this year and gotten to where they are in over a decade. Coaches (at least the last guy) can lose at an incredible rate and keep their job in NY. Why would Woodson be in jeopardy of losing his position/CrushAlot wrote:knicks1248 wrote:misterearl wrote:Obviously you think woodson is doing just a fine job and should be giving a 10yr extension I'm tired,I'm tired, I'm so tired right now......Kristaps Porzingis 1/3/18
