So I guess Eric Spoelstra is the greatest coach in the NBA since he beat Vogel, Rivers, Brooks, and Thibodeau.

Did you see the post game conference, this teams moral is at a season low, even the most optimistic player sounded dejected..

Stephen said prigs said some sht in spanish to a frnd or family member and he didn't need a translator to understand how pissed off he was

This series is over in 5. With how bad Kidd has been playing and our coach says this? This is another thing that proves he does not adjust.

Kidd makes a whooping 3 million dollars. We dont have anyone playing better who is sitting on the bench. We rode Kidd hard during the season and now we are paying the price.

Prig is on the bench and is playing much better than Kidd.

Prigs is a NBA "rookie".

Woodson is old school he isnt going to play rookies big minutes. He is going to roll with proven guys.

Prigs has been hit or miss in the playoffs. He will have a big game then completely fall off. Woodson is attempting to find some consistency.

The crying about Barron, Prigioni, and Copeland is hilarious. Plenty of other coaches arent looking to the end of bench to save them.

i already pointed out how Vogel is taking advantage of Woodson's defensive philosophy, but of course nobody wants to talk about that. lol.

You are correct. He is taking advantage of switching. Knicks have to switch though based on our personnel.

If we had Bledsoe and Shumpert in the backcourt we might be able to guard guys straight up.

i see your point, but if we're getting killed on second chance points don't we have to try and take that away and force them to find another way to beat us? are you pretty much saying if we stay home and guard 1-on-1, it's just gonna be a layup line?

Did he just say that? If so, that is a damn shame. There is no question J-Kidd is HOFer, but Woody is an absolute joke to put Kidd's legacy before the team. If he likes him so much, why didn't ask him to retire like Rasheed and give him an assistant coaching job. Kidd on the floor offers us nothing but 4 on 5.

Kidd and Felton arent that great defensively. Paul George, Stephenson, and Hill would make swiss cheese of our man to man defense.

Woody is losing his team at the worst possible time. It's based on his moves which aren't exactly instilling confidence in his players. If Woody was rock solid and not waffling and "looking for answers" things might be different. All of this seems to have caught Woody off guard. It started in the Celtic's series, but they were so bad the Knicks just overcame The Celtics despite not playing good BB for much of the time. That all came back to bite us against the Pacers.

Has Mike Woodson been muzzled?

Wednesday, the day after his Knicks lost 93-82 to Indiana to go down 3-1 in the series, Woodson did not show up for his regular ESPN-98.7 radio segment. Stephen A. Smith, the show’s co-host, put the blame squarely on Garden suits.

“Mike Woodson was supposed to be coming on, ladies and gentlemen. We didn’t lie to you. The New York Knicks organization backed out,” Smith said at the beginning of Wednesday’s show. “The coach didn’t back out because Mike Woodson wouldn’t do that — no matter what he says.”

An industry source said Woodson called Smith prior to the show and told him he would not be making his scheduled appearance. The station had promoted the Woodson segment during its morning programming.

Not a good sign when the organization puts a muzzle on you, that just shows you how bad he got out coach last night..they didn't want playing himself even more..

But some here seem to think it's mostly on the players. You think dolan gives a rats ass what kidd has done in his 6 months..I think woodson embarrass the franchise with his moves..

You think Dolan doesn't want a Heat/Knicks match up =$$$$

You think Woodson is now making Grunwald look incompetent

You think Grunwald doesn't want prigs back ( after chasing him for 6 yrs) more then kidd

You think This roster (at the very least) shouldn't make it to the ECF

Our window is as small as a rats ass, and we have a coach resorting to loyalty over winning

MAYBE WOODY DIDN'T GET THE MEMO, THERE'S VERY LITTLE LOYALTY IN THIS FKNG BUSINESS..

If we lose this series, I don't think woodson is coming back, if it goes 7 and we lose at home, i think he's shown the door the day after

No issue with this. The Knicks season could be over tomorrow night if Woodson doesn't help his guys get right. Also, a lot of drama with this team that just gets stirred up more with media involvement.

Rumor has it the Knicks players held a secret meeting to have Mike Woodson replaced by Lawrence Frank Thursday night. They are not happy. Losing makes everyone resort to silly claims. The media in New York senses blood in the water. So do some followers.

After bringing the Knicks back to 54-28, and winning a round, Mike Woodson has suddenly LOST his entire team?

Really?

Film at eleven. Sheesh.

remember avery getting coach of the month and fired the next...or sam mitchel winning coach of the yr, and fired the next, what about woodson advancing the hawks to the 2nd round only to be escorted out..

It only takes a couple of key players to start grumbling below their breaths for a coach to get canned, you see it every season.., all kobe had to do was give mike brown a steer and he was gone...

Obviously you think woodson is doing just a fine job and should be giving a 10yr extension

This team is in a slump, sometimes a elimination game brings out the best in players. If the Knicks are going to go down I guarantee that they are going to go out kicking and scratching.

Dantoni lasted 4 years and resigned. SAS had a vet quote where he said they stopped doing what the coach said and played the way they felt had to to win. Dantoni lasted almost 2 more seasons and left only because he resigned with pay. Woodson isn't going anywhere. The guy has accomplished stuff that hasn't happened in ny in over a decade.

You can say all you want about MDA, but he's actually coached his team to the WCF's TWICE!!! He did it even when he didn't have a single player over 6'9" going up against bigger teams. Woody has talented team and his opportunity to step up as a coach. It's not over yet. Woody can still get his team to the ECF's which was the potential for this team. So far he hasn't done a good job and hasn't even approached the level that MDA has already achieved in the NBA, so before you continue to disrespect MDA as a coach think about that in comparison to how Woody has done in the playoffs.

I haven't totally closed the book on Woody. I don't like what he's been doing but he still has a chance to step up. Woody has to re-inspire this team and get them mentally right for tomorrow. It's not impossible that he finds a way to get thru to his players, but he's done some damage IMO. He's gonna have to fix some upset players and some mentally broken players. He's got one more shot to get the job done.

D'Antoni was a mess in NY and did not win. However despite this his job wasn't in jeopardy. He resigned with pay after four years of not winning. My response was to the suggestion that Woodson's job is in jeopardy because he is down 3-1 in the coference semis after winning the Atlantic and getting to 54 wins in his first full season. I don't think his job is in jeopardy and I don't think Grunwald/Dolan has a quick hook. The Knicks haven't won at a rate like this year and gotten to where they are in over a decade. Coaches (at least the last guy) can lose at an incredible rate and keep their job in NY. Why would Woodson be in jeopardy of losing his position/
