Too bad so much time and so many moves were made by the gm to try to make that hire look like it was the right one.
MDA don't mentor players.
Walsh's job was to clean up Isiah's mess, install a culture that does not promote racism or sexual harrassment lawsuits and shed the team of Marbury. Open up cap space for Lebron and friends, or Amare and Melo.
Walsh is not the Wizard of Oz and beholden to give:
Marbury heart, Tim Thomas Currage, and special Nate a brain!
Nate also did not find it with Larry, Or Isiah, or in Boston with Doc or OKC with Brooks! Some pretty good names in the group don't you think?
Bulls are a desperate team who have to rely on taking the collar off Nate and letting him lose. Nate is a bit more mature also and in need of a contract. That keeps him focused these days.
Blame MDA for everything? that act is getting old!
Nate is like my nephew's "Furby"! Its fun for a day then it won't shut the phuck up!
The playoffs normally have a way of making batteries run down very quickly on high maintenance toys. I will be more surprised than I was watching JR hoisting a trophy if we're still responding to NateLove threads in another two weeks...
