The problem (my problem) is trying to win arguments, which I used to try to do. Now, if/when I post, it's to drop my thoughts and move on. Don't let it suck you in. What you, me or anyone else thinks about sports really isn't that big a deal.

Guns, I've enjoyed hearing your thoughts. I'll miss them. But do what ya gotta do.

Bingo. This should be stickied.

2) Blueseats, how have you been?

Been good man, working a lot. How about you?

Like BBJ I gave up cable a couple years ago and followed the Knicks via live streams on my laptop. It's been painful watching a pixelated 4" game. Been splurging on cable for the last month and thru the playoffs. It's good to care again.

I have to admit though, that Like Nalod suggests in another thread, it's been hard for me to love this band of hired guns. Half this team is made up of former enemies! But it's coming along with each hard fought win.

Deefeeense!!!

martin, it seems guns is having some discipline problems staying away. I think you should put him out of his misery and ban him. You'll be doing him a favor

j/k, stay well, guns, and come back soon!

Thanks Guns.

You took some time off a couple of years ago and came back maybe even a stronger poster. So sure, take some time off. And be back in time for the game tomorrow.

Can We Get The Gold Watch Back?

gunsnewing - with all due respect, since your retirement you have certainly been posting at a steady clip.

It would certainly help if Rasheed Wallace could do the same thing.

your problem my man - the sport of the argument is the entire reason to post on an internet messageboard about basketball. I certainly don't come here to learn about basketball

I agree with Blue. I'm as guilty as anyone of always trying to win arguments. The problem is that there is no such thing as winning the argument. It's not like there's an objective arbiter of truth who settles the fights. And it's not like the other person ever says, "You're right. I don't know what I was thinking." Even if they did, it doesn't really matter. It's not like you get a big shiny trophy.

I find this humorous, as you are baiting me with that last line. The difference is I'm efficient in my posting (see what I did there)

I know what will help. Some Captain in your coke, eggplant parm and a Game 1 blowout of the Pacers.
