Correction, he shouldn't HAVE to bring the ball up when we have 3 pgs. But, as last night showed and what's been shown throughout the season is we can't really rely on them to take care of the ball and in many cases we're better off with the ball in Melo's hands.

So you rather Melo bring up the ball with the speedy avery bradley guarding him? Dont know if I agree with that strategy

It's not ideal but he's sometimes the best option we have. He's strong enough to fight off the smaller Bradley and tall enough to throw the ball over the top.

Well it didnt work because like felton and kidd he turned the ball over twice as well. Prigioni wasnt even in the game in favor of JR. Prigs played only 20mins.

We were up 26. JRs offense wasnt even needed. We needed as many ball handlers and playmakers on the court. Shump and prigs were on the bench til the lead was cut to 4 in 4mins

It's not always going to work. You can make the right decision for the right reasons and still not succeed; you can't only judge a decision by the result.

I hope you remember that you said that when the inevitable turnover happens

Celtics came back because the Knicks got complacent and thought it was blow out time. Knicks got blown out because Jason Kidd is too slow for Avery Bradley. Your thread is on crack and you don't remember how it went down. You take one possession and think that's how the whole game went.

Beat me too it. Felton started getting sloppy with the ball.

He always remembers one or two possessions and builds his whole view of the game from them. Accroding to guns, PG should bring the ball up. Kidd is in the game and Bradley is stealing the ball from him but he doesn't remember that. That is what started the comeback. He only remembers the three possessions where Melo brought the ball up.

This happened during the 3month stretch of .500 ball and the last 2yrs in the playoffs. I dont judge anything on 2 possesions

maybe not after two possessions but you did want to fire the coach after a bad stretch and run Amar'e into the ground without regard for the bigger picture etc.

Turning the ball over has no been an issue all yr because we have 3 pgs on the roster. Celtics trapped and the knicka were caught off guard. They thought the celtics were quitting when the lead reached 26

Starting Amare and playing him 25mins at the time is not running him into the ground. As it turned out he got run into the groud anyway coming off the bench. Now we are goin to need him

As far as woodson is concerned im not getting into the reasons why we were 20-20 midseason again but i will say one major one that is still rearing its head in the playoffs is the tendency to iso. Playing kidd etc

So you don't trust Prigioni either huh?

I don't think he's quick enough to beat press coverage; same thing with Kidd. And we all know Felton doesn't have the greatest handle.

Prigs can handle the ball , he just can come up on the sidelines.

January and February were rough for the Knicks. Essentially the period after Howard tried to end melo's season. Knicks were 13-7 in march.
