Novak has sucked all season, Felton has been OK, and Tyson has yet to show up like he did last year or in the Macs championship run. We need a lot of people to step up huge tonight and we also need the coach to make some adjustments.

Does anyone know if Camby is still hurt or is he just sitting now?

Im getting a little tired of the "Who is helping melo and JR" stuff. They are suppose to be our big guns. And lets be honest Raymond felton and iman shumpert have arguably been our best players. Felton has killed the celtics all series and gave us a chance in game 4. iman shumpert looks like he did when he was a rookie and even better. Its time for melo and jr to step up

Well basketball is a team sport and Melo and JR can't do their thing unless others step up. When Felton drops 20+ I get concerned that's because the focus is on Melo - not just because Felton is playing well. Now if he was scoring 20 in the flow of things that's a different story but when he is getting it while the Knicks are struggling then I get concerned.

Look I have never blamed Melo for everything. I have defended him quite a bit. Jr is the biggest reason why this happened. Getting suspended is stupid. Then he goes out gets loaded and comes back for Game 5 and does nothing probably because he was hungover. Melo hasnt played well and that isnt because of the guys around him. He is making a lot of poor decisions the past 2 games.

AMEN!!! Great post StarksEwing1. The thing is that the role players on the team have been playing hard and all we needed was a few made shots from our Big guns and this series is over!!! Hopefully that is what we get tonight.

Melo also needs to hit his free throws during crunch time.

Yeah Im not a melo hater and im not a melo lover. im a objective Knick fan. I have given melo a lot of praise because he earned it this year for the most part. However im not araid to be critical when he has played liek he has the past 2 games. regarding felton i have been very critical of this year but he stepped up this series. Shumpert has been great as well

I agree but I still think it would be massive if other guys were playing consistent and he didn't have the pressure to make EVERYTHING happen. Yes some guys have played well but I think the team as a whole could be doing much better.

I also fail to understand how the Celtics are suddenly competing with us. I know a lot of it falls on JR but still - they have looked amazing the last 2 games. I guess I have to reming myself that they played Miami pretty tough last year didn't they? Did it go 7 games? They are no easy out.

I never said they were easy. However they have no point guard which you can tell in the firs 3 games. Im sorry but they didnt deserve to win game 4. We giftwrapped that game for the. Also certain i agree that guys like chandler havent been consistent. but guys like martin shumpert and felton have been consistent and that should ahve been enough to win. Like i said i dont blame melo for everything but if he played decent in game 4 or 5 this series would be over

I really want this series to be over and for the Knicks to move on. That being said I can't ever remember an official taking over a game and handing it to the other team like Malloy did in game 1 of the Heat series last year. It sounds ridiculous but maybe Stern is setting things up so there is a game 7.

I cant blame the refs really. I mean game 4 was suppose to be the toughest because jr smith was out and we were in boston yet we still should have won. last game we went up 11-0 and then maybe we had a few calls go against us. However that didnt impact the rest of the game. The Knicks biggest problem is that they are inconsistent. They have to play hard for 48 minutes

The Knicks are the better team, it's time to prove it during the game and play like games 1 to 3 ... I hope to not be disappointed

I am talking about what Malloy did last year in the first game of the Knicks/Heat series. I agree about not blaming the refs for what has gone on so far in this series. I do think you could question JR's suspension. Boozer did the same thing last night against the Nets.

Knicks activated Earl Barron and de-activated Steve Novak. If Barron plays the Knicks are blowing out Boston or we're headed to Game 7

We keep saying the Knicks are better than Boston but I think they are pretty evenly matched ever since Jeff Green has stepped up. This will be an Ali and Fraizer type fight.

All this talk about Boston makes it sound like they have already won game 6.

The team with the best player should win this series.

Melo > KG ?
Melo > Pierce ?

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

Boston can't handle the pressure in the 2nd half if the Knicks run and wear them out with Prigs and Felton. Playing at home is a DISADVANTAGE in a game like this. Knicks win going away.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
