Correct me. Useless is harsh... Way overrated is better though.

Yeah, Gatorade would at least keep you hydrated but it's overrated. Sometimes I've used Emergen-C when working out. It has lots of vitamins, minerals, and electrolytes.

This should open the door for DenveR, an Old Spurs team and okc without their pg.

Obviously it's a big loss for OKC. Ibaka is an excellent player and they have a lot of good role players. (And obviously KD is awesome.) They should still be able to make it to the conference finals but if Duncan, Parker, Splitter, and Ginobili are all healthy, you'd have to pick them over OKC.

Lateral is worse than medial as its a tear on the outside of the meniscus opposed to in the middle(medial) and has a greater effect on lateral movement.

This is false. The medial and lateral menisci are two separate c-shaped structures. Medial refers to closer to the midline, not the middle of the meniscus. The outer portions of each menicus have a richer blood supply and hence a better propensity to heal. As far as I know, medial and lateral meniscus partial thickness tears do not have different recovery times in the absence of other injuries.

Sh-t in the popcorn to go with sh-t on the court. Its a theme show like Medieval times.

Don't count out the Rockets now. 24 points is tought to loss specially against a high octane team like the Rockets. Even if Durant averages 30+ a game, where is the other 15 pts coming from? KMart would have to step up and produce.

Yeah completely unnecessary play. He's probably just trying to prove he deserves a spot on the team.

If they are that upset about it it will probably be a cheap shot on Asik or Harden.
sealy wrote:Wow. Definitely agree it wasn't intentional, but if I'm a role player on OKC I'm taking a flagrant 1 on Beverly as soon as he enters the lane. Some may not like it, but this just cost OKC a chip as far as I'm concerned.

I see. Maybe Lin was medial. Not sure

When he started to go after the ball, the timeout wasn't officially granted yet.

He lowered his shoulder after the whistle. It was a bush-league play.

Considering how aggressively Westbrook was playing afterward, I assumed he was fine. I'm surprised by this news.

Yea lin was prob playing with it for weeks because the kidd closeline happen way before the surgery. I guess you can play on it but your risk of serious knee damage increases greatly

The ball is low down and he's going for the ball with his left arm. So the left shoulder is going to be lower than the right one. It doesn't look intentional to me.
That said, I'd be nervous if I were Beverly. I'm sure OKC doesn't see it the way I do.

Bonn, you would be surprised. Sometimes you feel you can go on when you can't... Only to regret it bad an hour or 2 later. My best friend tore his meniscus playing paintball (somehow) and continued to play after the initial injury. It wasn't until later when he couldn't either straighten or bend his leg. When he went to the dr, he learned that not only did he tear his meniscus, but also flipped it. It seems impossible given how little space there is in the knee... But it isn't.
