Really splitting hairs on this one ActionJax?

just wondering why any & everything the team does well is spun as lucky or fortuitous instead of being the result of hard work & preparation. Sort of like the national sports media focusing on the offensive maladies of the Celtics w/o Rondo instead of the Knicks playing shut down D. it's just a perception thing i guess

Boston went on a tear after Rondo which is how they got to the playoffs.

A 2 seed winning two at home against a 7 seed is really not a big deal. Lets be honest, knicks are not exactly known for its defense so lets not get too sensitive.

Its really combo of both. Who cares what the media thinks anyway is a cry we hear often.

Proof is on the court.

Lets get our split in Boston and finish this in 5!

1st round is really dragging on the calander!

To hell with a split my good man, bring the brooms to Boston. Win big and come back here as watch Nalod wax poetic about it :)

Yeah, phuch dat, lets just close it out in 3! cuz 3 is better than 4! Beat them so bad the league will envoke a "mercy Rule" and just cancel the series!" Bring the Broom? Why, can't you bring a Dyson Vac? Heavy duty suction cleaning power! Broom? Dat for witches, Btches! Yeah, Bring a floor polisher, some heavy duty scrbbing pads and midEvil cleaing solution to demoralize the Celtics at home!

you know what, considering what that City is suffering, maybe we should "give" them one :)

I know......BUt this is not about the city of boston, its about the franchise and a basketball game.

I loved Doc's response about not using what happened as motivation. He really just thought the mear mention of it was out of line!

Im not being greedy or super cool here!

I figured a split and we close it in 5. 2 beating on a 7. I hate what happend there last week, but its just a game.

quite true. My hatred of Boston is just so extreme (not the city but the team), it doesn't matter who's wearing the Jersey. My hate goes back to the days of Walt Clyde Frasier.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

I hear you!!!!! We finally got rid of Boston after they last won in 69', we had the east in 70', 71, 72 and 73! 3 finals in 4 years! Then in 74' they come back!

Jo-Jo, Havlicek, Silas, Cowens, Nelson.....GRRRRRR!

Then they get Bird, McHale, Parish, and do it again!!!!!!!!!!

Had a bad streak then they STARPHUCH and actually figure it out with Paul Freaking Pierce, the Evil

Years they win:

1957
1959
1960
1961
1962
1963
1964
1965
1966
1968
1969
1974
1976
1981
1984
1986
2008

The good part is I don't remember any of them prior to them winning 1974 but I knew the legend.

They won a championship without Gerald Henderson whom they traded for Seattles no. 1 pick and it turned into the no. 2 overall pick which was Len Bias.

Bird was still great in 86' and if Len Bias had not died they could have won more! Bias was incredible!

I think there are better ways for the city of boston to heal then thru the Celtics! They can have lots of history to relive with 17 championships!

Make up your mind!

I gave Panos the choice post; he selected blessings. Give the man some leeway in repenting of his negativity.

DO I SMELL DUST ON THE PARQUET FLOOR?
Could we possibly see KG lying on the floor, Barkley style?

It's the year 2018, TNT is on your 187 inch flat panel...

"So, welcome Kevin Garnett to the broadcast..."
KG: "Hate the *&%$* Knicks, the Connecticut Nets will bury them in the East this year..."

You think someone on the Knicks could deploy this on the Boston parquet floor?

This would be the best Defensive strategy ever!!!

The only thing I get frustrated on is sometimes I wish Pablo Prigioni can shoot more. There are times where he has an open shot but he passes it off and it makes his teammate work hard to get a shot.
BlueSeats "I like anyone who can make Lebron cry. Melo seems to do it a lot."

I watched him a lot during the olympics, he did the same exact thing. I thought he pass a little too much and never really looked for his shot, and even though his teammates and coaches keeping telling him to shoot, he just can't. Just like melo can't turn into a 5 assist player. when you have been playing a certain way your whole career, and your like 10 yrs in, it is what it is.

JR on the other hand said he relied more on his jumper because he was getting beat up in the paint and not getting the calls, which still happens.
