He was an elite three point shooting before being thrown into that circus. Happened to a lot of knick players during that era of underachievement

I'll tell you why this is funny. QRich hasn't played all year. He used to report into camp fat after only a couple months off. He's going to be in terrible shape. This is waste of a signing.

You saying Grunfeld doesn't do due diligence?

Did he do his due diligence with Solly Jones? Let's just say I don't think QFats is going to have any impact unless its just to absorb some minutes tomorrow.

Solly Jones did exactly what he was supposed to: eat minutes and he did so nicely again Indiana. Q will have the same job, eat minutes and body up any SF/G that comes about.

You still haven't answered my question: You saying Grunfeld doesn't do due diligence? He prob just picked KMart out of a bucket too, right? Is that how you feel?

I don't know anything about Grunfeld, but if you're asking me if I think Grunwald has seen QRich before signing him, yes, I think he has. Has he seen him play in the NBA obviously not. I don't really see the point of your question. Are you saying that Grunwald hasn't made any mistakes? How about Camby for $3-4M per year for 3 years at 39 years old. The guy hasn't contributed anything all year. How about Brewer? He played ok for about 6 games before starting to shoot 19% from the floor (exaggeration alert). I'm not saying G-man hasn't done a good job. I like most of what he's done. But he's not infallable. And this signing I think was a waste of time.

The question will be is Qrich going to last longer than Solly Jones.

Where's Fishlips playing nowadays?

I never understood how could make a guy like QRich look good and a guy like Melo or Kobe look bad until they bent for the system. Earl Barron looked good under Pringles. It blows my mind

Quentin Richardson is the best Grunwald could do? Has Richardson even played this season?

I think it's a good move. It's the playoffs; veteran insurance can help. This is the 14th or 15th man.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

That's the thing...We can only sign players that have not played with an NBA team this year for them to play in the playoffs. Barrel is bare.

He was brought in for toughness, and has history with kg and pierce.

Chalk this up as a giant "meh" move. I would be stunned if Q saw minutes in the post-season. In the mean time, we played 6 guys over 40 minutes each last night. One more game to go, and we want to get our guys rest. Sit Melo, JR, Felton, by all means, but don't burn out the bench in the process.

May not be my choice, even for the 15th man, but at this point I'll take any body that can suit up for Atlanta.

I hope he can still hit open threes, because I don't want to depend on Novak in the playoffs at alllllllllllllll.

If he can hit open 3's and play tough D on PP, Jeff green, Wade and Lebron this will be a good signing. I personally thought Q and Stephan Jackson played D on Melo the best. Q just needs to be in shape.

dude, Q at his best was a poor 3point shooter. Even with the Clippers he was a poor 3pt shooter. He as a shooter can't even sniff Shumps nutsack. Where are guys getting this "he was an elite shooter" or that he's even a good shooter when he is not.

Also, I forgot about the crap he pulled but, I can forgive that. You ride with your team.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

We traded for him because the year prior he led the league in threes for phoenix and seemed to be coming into his own. Clearly it was a mirage in a contract year because you are right he was erractic for the Clips. He was one of the few guys on the knicks who could defend and get into guys heads tho

Isiah loved trading for guys after their contract years see curry crawful and big game james

Just need him to hit wide open threes in 18 minutes of floor time.

Copeland>>>Novak
Hopefully
Q Rich>>>>Novack

Tyson/Kmart
Melo/Cope
Shumps/Q
Pablo/JR
Felton/Kidd

In case of emergency break glass
