Does the shot chart also reflect relative quickness and forcefulness? And this is not an attack, just asking.

Frankly, I'd rather be getting posterized at the rim by Durant than Melo; it would have to be much less painful.

How many times has Melo posterized someone?
Melo is stronger than Durant but he doesn't have the quickness or coordination to attack the rim like Durant does. He's still very good at it; just not at Durant's level.

Melo has VERY quick feet which is why he gets to the rim with ease even though he is 6' 8". It's also why he get off the ground quickly for put backs. Melo just doesnt have insane hops or length like Durant or Lebron.

Keep up the good work, Melo! While the team keeps winning and he keeps scoring, it's all good!
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I know Durant is more efficient when you look at the numbers, but if anyone was watching the game @ OKC you can see the partial reason for such a difference.
Melo got 9 offensive boards, constantly battled under the rim and got hit A LOT of times, yet didn't go to the line until the last 30 seconds of the game, Durant on the other hand shot 15 of them and a lot of those were soft fouls to say the least.

I don't know about you, but having watched a lot of games (especialy Knicks' games, but also quite a few OKC ones) I know for a fact that the refs have a very different "relationship" with Durant than they do with Melo, it helps getting to the foul line when you mess up a shot and not missing a shot because you were fouled (but there's no call), I know that's not the whole story and I'm not even going for it, just trying to mention the obvious (well, it should be to those who don't hate Melo/are in love with Durant)

Agree. The fact that Melo had 9 offensive rebounds and didn't get to the line until the final minute of the game says it all.

+100000

No offense to the stat guys, but you gotta watch the game cause the numbers dont tell the whole story.

Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.
