Besides the acquisition of Kmart who were against signing. Melo getting his knee drained has also elevated the the knicks ceiling

I hope we won't be playing " I told you so" ad nauseum when the playoffs come around, whatever happens. We've all been on or off the mark at one point or another about what has transpired this season.

Hope we can unite as fans and save the pie fights about who was right and who was wrong until after the playoffs are over. This might be our best shot for years to come, you never know. Lets enjoy it, everyone.

Fire Mike Woodson. Yeah right

3months was more than a few weeks

Dude, over the past 13 seasons .500 basketball was cause for happy face time in Knicksland

Who moved the freakin goalpost?

We just won 50 games in a sample size of less than a full season. Can you dig it?

You are making it sound like you are the only one enjoying this great run. Why do you disappear when the going gets tough? Hopefully busy praying for a turn around. Your faith seems to have paid off and I commend you

I will be honest i disappear a lot when the going gets tough because when we lose a couple games this board is floaded with trade Melo threads and blow it up threads. It is very tough to deal with when you know its just overreaction. But there is no convincing otherwise. We lose 3 in a row and we are doomed with a terrible team and no flexibility. Look back a few pages, its pathetic considering where we are right now.

If you really feel that way then give them a wide berth. Beats endless pissing contests when things are going so well.

I dont disagree with you but it is easier to look back and say that now. It is my personal choice to live in the moment. Both good and bad. Nothing is guaranteed til the final whistle in the season happens. Knicks could get upset in the first rd then how will Earl look then after he just got down singling out a handful of posters. Not a good practice imo but hey to each their own

I told you so threads will not take away from a great knicks postseason run. At least it wont for me. The game is played on the court not behind a keyboard. The Knicks succeeding is all that matters

This isn't an "I told you so" thread now is it? Its not about ruining the game, its about us not being RealGM. No fun in that.

As for the game being played on a court, I agree. Hope we can have a UK Bball get together around late summer. I know some posters are up for it.

Living in the moment is fine, but only problem is the opinion on this team will change far too much. One minute this team will be a contender and the next a loser with no hope. I believe in forming an opinion and sticking with it. My opinion is this team is close to a contender and can absolutely win a title with Melo as the main piece. No win streak or losing streak will pull me away from that opinion. I think anything other than that on my part is overreaction. I refuse to get too high or too low.

LOL, you and me both, but I still love to ball, even if my best days are behind me. I'm in Fla so the more advance notice you guys can give the better, like a month or so would be great. Might be easier to get more people to show up as well.

I know guns in real life. We watch about 5 games a month together. He is much more of an optimist when we are watching Knick games. He has never said trade Melo in person. But he is known for his knee-jerk reactions in our circle. It's fine in real life because his optimism cancels out the knee-jerk stuff he says but I guess it doesn't translate on this forum.

Nothing wrong with that. I commend those who never get too high or too low. I just hate setting myself up for disappointment. I wont be satisfied with a disappointing season as much as I try to convince myself to lower my expectations. I want this team to contend every yr again like they did in the 90s. This has been a great yr so far. I just hope we are not back in the lottery trading lottery picks again in 2yrs. With Dolans knee jerk reactions and impatience to fill the Garden

I react just like any fan does. Not concerned about whether it is a knee jerk reaction or if im right or wrong. Or playing it safe on a internet forum in order to avoid the backlash by people like Earl. Im just a fan. Players play the game coaches coach on the court

this team is playing well enough to get to the ECF. From that point on, its anybody's guess as to what happens.
This team has a legit chance to win it all
