Theoretically speaking if he did that I could see them giving it to Melo. Just the last 3 games are historical. The last guy to avg 40+ & 60% was Jordan not LeBron, Kobe, or Durant. So if he did that for a month that's different level great.

You see so if Melo brings the Knicks close out season with the Knicks responding well it would mean Melo took a team with less talent than the Heat and put them on his back and made his game and thier game better.

If that happened, I believe the Knicks would be the front-runners to win the championship and the Heat would be about a .600 team. It would be a dream come true for us.

Wade is a better player than Melo but Wade is also probably the second or third best player in the league. Saying Wade is better than Melo is not some kind of put down as to Melo. Wade is amongst the all time great shooting guards, easily.

As for Melo and the MVP, the Knicks had to win the East for that to happen and they clearly won't be winning the east. MVP will be LeBron, again. I think the Knick's have had a GREAT season and done well despite the never ending injuries all season. Kudos to them.
