Hey Nuggets are on pace to win 55gms....Did they ever win 55gms in the Melo era?

Wait don't answer that I will....NO!!!!!!

They won 54 in 2009-10, but you're right- that one extra win that they haven't even got yet makes all the difference!

+1
Hate can be comical at times...

hate? where is the hate, what he said was true, stating they won 54 games does nothing in terms of proving him incorrect here.. I really don't see where it is comical...

maybe if you want to argue that comments about denver doesn't have a place in this thread, I could see that point, but otherwise, what he said was true? is it not?

Hate, nah-huh, no hate here ! None ! He is only stating the very obvious, 55>54, duh. Its true and there is nothing comical here, being a fan is very serious business. Its such serious business that sometimes real fans run the risk of losing their sense of humor. Its a small price to pay of course, in order to be able to bring the negativity at the slightest opportunity be a real fan.

again, I will repeat.. if you are going to call his post comical and call him a hater, please point out the hate and the comedy? the only thing I see is them agreeing with him and then calling him out as a hater... that is ridiculous..

I'll make sure to keep this in mind if we win 49 gms and not 50.....because obviously 1gm is the difference between teams being good or not being good. The point is regular season is regular season. We didn't build this team and make the trades and signings we did to whack over 50gms. It's all about post-season and regular is almost over. We're all anxious but let's not get ahead of ourselves. This team has accomplished nothing.

Think of it like the Patriots who actually won multiple SBs(except we've won nothing) and went 16-0 in the regular season and lost. If you ask The Pats which season would they prefer the one where they went 12-4, 11-5, 13-3.... and won it all or went 16-0 and won jack squat. I can tell you which.

Nobody is talking about that HISTORIC season anymore but people do talk about and remember David Tyree's catch against that HISTORIC team and if I'm not mistaken Tryee isn't in the league anymore....

And the same goes for current Miami Heat team. I don't care about their 27gm winning streak, even if they happen to win out. Sorry you gotta win it all, otherwise it means nothing.

SO YOU CAN TAKE THAT TO THE BANK!!!!!!

I agree with your entire post, Im as much of a GREENBAY fan as I am a knick fan for over 20 years..We went 15-1 and lost in the 1st round..

The regular season has nothing to do with the playoffs, as a matter of fact you can count on one hand the amount of teams that finish with the best record and actually won it all in the last 20+ years.

In the Nfl and MLb it's been wild cards winning championships, and in the NBA it's usually the 2nd or 3rd seed that ends up winning, including miami last season which finish 2nd.

I think I read some where that 50 wins makes you a contender in most cases.

No Kg, No Gasol this week and the bobcats..we may reach 7 in a row

So it don't mean a thing if you don't win the bling,

Melo's a loser cuz Denver only one 54 games and not 55.

AND Y'ALL CAN TAKE DAT TO THE BANK!

That's right folks, nothing comical to see here! Move along!

6-6 out of the remaining seems more than doable. Almost makes me want to shoot higher than 50 wins.. but then, with this team, every time we get excited and overoptimstic, they let us down. So, let's stick with 50.

Meanwhile, 6 game winning streak. Most in the NBA. Yes!

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

knicks1248 - 4-10,.. the most likely scenario.

There is no such thing as likely when it comes to the NYKnicks.

Ten games with Rasheed Wallace reminding the team in big numerals that fidee means fidee.

The idea is to head into the playoffs playing with confidence. No matter what the regular season record is. Six of the next ten on the road. Hang together my friends. The west coast trip was just a preview. Bring back Tyson Chandler on Friday against Milwaukee. Get Marcus Camby some burn on April 11 vs the extra rugged Chicago Bulls. Check with Rasheed on April 15. Check with the doctors if Sheed is able to practice.

No layups. Hit the open man and set a pick for Earl to use his drivers license.

My favorite part of these streak and approaching 50 wins is no rediculous Melo trade ideas! Isn't being a good team much more fun then trading our best players for draft picks and hope?

Let's not get carried away. 9 more wins in a row is incredibly tough. If we finished the season 6-3 I'd be ecstatic.

I predicted the Charlotte win,

and this is only 6 wins, I predicted 4, so only 2 more than my prediction so far, and I'll be honest with you:

OKC, CHICAGO, it's gonna be tough

You funny IronW. Remind me not to hit you up for any insider trading stock tips.

Rather than revise your prediction of 4-11, you sound the alarm about OKC?

Cool.
