Hmmmmmmmmmmm....I really hate facts.

Luc Longley had a really good record against Patrick Ewing too!

Doesn't Melo led teams have a winning record against Lebron? If so, then the obvious conclusion we should draw is?

That is an outstanding point!

Yes! Of course! Melo = Luc Longley! And Longley even won a chip or two! Holy effing jayzus... SMH

So when Longley is brought in you finally understand the absurdity of comparing players by comparing teams records. I'm glad the analogy helped.

This coming from the author and copyright owner of the long-loved and oft-quoted "Mr .470" So team winning and losing only makes sense when...?

KD is not a good defender, an average passer, an average rebounder, and a great scorer. Doesn't seem very different from Melo to me, besides his superior fg% efficiency. Where did this notion of KD as a jack of all trades even arise?

if you compare him to melo, durant is the better defender.
he is also the better passer, if assists per game mean anything to you. he also is the better teammate if you look at his usage rate and assist rate percentage. at 1.36 this is close to shooting guard territory for this metric. meanwhile though melo's ratio has improved it is still a too-high 2.35-- he remains selfish and uncreative.
he is an average rebounder only if you consider him a small forward... but he isn't he's obviously a swingman, operating often above the free throw line extended much like paul pierce.
a great scorer meaning an efficient scorer. his 64.5TS% is awe-inspiring.

melo? verrrry mediocre scorer with a progressively worsening TS% of now 55.6%. that is positively anemic and will continue to worsen.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Again, I do that jokingly. Whether the team loses in the first round or wins a championship, my evaluation of Melo will be based on how he plays.
