Lin was not traded. He betrayed his benevolent benefactor who in a fit of anger banished the ungrateful traiter into the sea of cybermetric logic than pay the dreaded hyper tax in year three!

The CBA turned on Dolan and Lin choose wisely.

It sucks, but it happens.

exactly... Lin is fine where he is.. I am happy for him actually, good kid, good player, with a good organization... it all fits...

Imagine if Lin were still with us? Lin loves New York. He loves the Knicks. Imagine Lin and Carmelo together just tearing it up night after night.

Carmelo didn't want to share his toys with lin.... he felt it was "ridiculous" that lin was offered that kind of money... so there you go...

Nice ....

how about we bring Carmelo into another discussion - SMH

Yup. He holds his own. He can defend 1-on-1. His problem is with really quick PGs like Lillard, Parker and CP3. Everybody else, he holds his own.

Look at the division there is/was Rondo and Dwill. Those guys toasted LIN. Also Holiday is no slouch. Lin offense is not the problem. This team has more than enough scoring. Its the bullfighting defense that's the problem. Before he got hurt it seemed like other teams were picking on the dude. See Dwill for an example.

Lin is a better defender than Felton - there I said it!

None - they all do

I agree, so why do we talk about a Rocket's guard on a NYKs board?

Because we let him go for nothing and now we are stuck with a bonehead. Is that not relevant?

Woah, how did Felton get put in to this discussion about Lin? I will say that Felton seems to be more careful with the ball. Lin seems to play more reckless. I make this statement without looking a stats so I may be wrong. Woodson has placed focus on limiting TOs. Which is another reason along with his D as to why he is a bad fit for the NYKs.

Felton is in this discussion because he replaced Lin.

Lin turns the ball over more but also creates FAR more.

I has not been relevant for a long while outside of this message board. I think people stopped talking about Lebron leaving Cleveland in a smaller time span. LOL!

The Knicks don't need that trade off. The best player on the team can get his own shots. STAT and Chandler may benefit some but that doesn't outweigh the need to limit TOs. That becomes even more important in the PO. The NYK can beat any team in a seven game series if they win the TO battle.
