Knicks saying they expect to keep Sheed on the roster, might be ready for the playoffs. Terrible decision if true. Stress fractures are tricky enough and I doubt that a 38 year old will be ready to contribute in about 8 weeks. Hell, if anything wouldn't we be able to cut Sheed now, sign someone else to take his spot, and then if he's making good progress in his recovery couldn't we cut someone else, Copeland, White, and resign Sheed?

I'm not surprised at anything the knicks may do or say. Thats why we haven't won anything in over 40 years. They are gonna keep Sheed on the roster. What a joke, I am slowly starting to loose interest in the Knicks management. They will screw up everything. We have an extra spot so let's get someone else but no that's too much like right.

no way kenyon martin is going to be as effective as sheed.

Why would Kenyon not be effective as Sheed? Martin is a better, more versatile defender. He's more athletic and he's able to hit the 15 footer, just last year Martin was a big contributor to the Clippers during the playoffs.

Why do Knicks fans on here, endorse the signing of scrubs. Henry Sims is clearly not an NBA caliber player, Shelvin Mack has struggled in the NBA he isn't a backup PG on a team with championship aspirations, McGrady is done as an NBA player, West is a good player just too much of a headcase I don't trust him with JR, Donte Greene isn't that great I rather give Copeland minutes.

If they are bringing someone in they have to have him signed by March 1 to be on the playoff roster. In regards to the playoffs, despite the doom and gloom on this forum I think the Knicks make it out of the first round this year at least. The playoffs are stretched out. There are not back to backs and Sheed could be ready at some point to play in the playoffs. If the team can get a vet that can contribute now and in the playoffs I think they should. If they are going to get a Gadzuric type or a young player that will never sniff the court they might as well keep Sheed. Earlier in the year guys, especially Cope, were talking about Sheed's positive influence on them and working with them. That might be worth more than a Gadz type signing or Henry Sims signing etc. I think we will know in two days as Friday is March 1.

Well, then we should cut him and sign someone else in the next 48 hours. And Sheed can do all that stuff as an assistant coach, we don't need to waste a roster spot on someone who almost certainly isn't going to play the rest of the season.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

Not mad at Sheed he was about turn the Century mark.

Another horrific signing by Grunny. That makes Brewer now Sheed pushing a count 3-2 one striking out while watching an off-speed pitch and another getting caught on a check swing....

Camby is in the On Deck Circle while Kidd is currently looking a 2-2 count

Skipper is looking deep into the dugout and has spotted Martin to DH if Kidd can manage to get on base.

Who is the pitcher and whose the closer?

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.
