![]() So now we're the NY Nuggets? But seriously I hope he has something left in the tank and can stay healthy. Our injury roster is getting full.

Miami was reported to be trying to sign Martin with the roster spot they freed up trading Pittman. With Kidd and Camby, Kmart is the 3rd vet player to sign with us over Miami and Miami was reportedly recruiting them all hard too. I never liked Kmart...always felt he was a dirty player but if he plays hard, helps hold this team accountable, and helps us win I could learn to like him. I guess the soonest he could play is next week? I hate waiting. |

![]() Everyone just needs to get healthy ASAP. Unlikely as it is I want to see all 15 of these guys in uniform, playing before his 10-day contract is up.
On twitter, I love how mad Celtics fans and Miami fans are about us signing him. |

He was responsible for 2 of their wins off the top of my head IIRC, KMart also didn't want to take the vet minimum which was all we could offer. And other teams weren't offering him much either. The difference between fiction and reality? Fiction has to make sense.

![]() I was shocked at how good KMart looked last year in LA. He's kept himself in good shape and was a good spot player last year. I thought his legs were shot, but they're not. KMart still has some life in his legs. Especially in limited minutes. Having him and Sheed should help with keeping the defensive intensity up.

I remember when Kidd got Mourning to sign with the Nets after his kidney transplant and Kmart made fun of Zo for struggling running sprints. That was a long time ago and I am really excited that he is a Knick. I hated Spree before he became a Knick and he ended up being one of my all time favorites.CrushAlot wrote:MSG3 wrote:I guess this is good. Doesn't change much though. The core has to step it up. ![]() If Martin defends he will get plenty of minutes since Camby and Sheed CANNOT stay healthy.
I would like to see a front court of Amare, Martin, and Melo. NY Knicks - Retirement home for players and GMs

![]() So the old Nuggets had a talk and figured they were never coming out of the West. Figured they'd split up, spend time on a few different teams, then join up in the East. Watch out championship, here they come....Bwah hah hah hah hah!!!

![]() If guys get healthy the depth is like when the Knicks had Buck Williams and Terry Cummings coming off the bench. Guys that got it, played tough d, rebounded and intimidated. KMart, Sheed, Camby, and Kurt are from that mold but health is holding back Sheed and Camby.

![]() As you can see below, it's looking like our Knicks front office took note on what NYKMentality has been saying dating back to last offseason
![]() NYKMentality wrote:I'd rather just pick up Kenyon Martin as a free agent, who's only one year older than O'Neal, without having to give up anything of value during a trade. As you can see, I'm thrilled that we've landed Kenyon Martin. We just added lots of energy and toughness down low (coming off the bench). These post's I've quoted were all post's which were made before the signing of Kenyon Martin.
