Grunwald does a lot with a little.

While the team does the opposite.

Good move. We'll probably include the pick in a package for some help over the summer. Brewer wasn't going to make much of a difference here the way he was playing after the hot start.

I'm not happy with letting Brewer go. I just had my hopes up of Ronnie Brewer locking down the perimeter while playing with his heart come postseason play. Had a vision of throwing out the likes of Shumpert, J.R Smith and Brewer on Wade for 4 quarters strong. Just got home, have no idea what's gone around the NBA (about to research) and have no idea if we traded Brewer to open up a roster spot, but for who?

On a side note, maybe we become blessed and land a true steal with this 2nd rounder...

I'm just happy posters finally showed up to talk about this epic trade. 20 percenters, unite!

I thought OKC wanted Brewer to lock down Harden? Everyone's jumping to dealing with Lebron in the Finals?

Interesting bit on Brewer trade

Funny, I thought the Knicks needed a jolt of energy on D. When Brewer got benched so did NY's perimeter D.

I think Kenyon Martin will do a better job on Lebron than Brewer. If we ca get far enough to face Miami

If Shump can step up then Brewer is not needed. Martin helps much more, agreed.

Martin isn't going to be playing man D on Lebron, he's nowhere nearly fast enough to even attempt to keep up with him.

Brewer got benched because he became part of the problem on defense. His defense dipped before his offensive production plummeted. He looked good first week or so but, then re-aggravated his knee, sat out a couple of games and hasn't been the same since. He couldn't even stay in front of Gerald Wallace for crying out loud. He's been laboring (obviously to my eyes) when he does get play time. Dude just hasn't properly healed from the surgery yet.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

but he can help plug up the middle which, is what you do against LeBron.

Deleted prior post, wrong thread.

Regarding this thread, might as well have traded him since we weren't using him, though we could GREATLY use his defense. Strange...
