Thts not a fair exchange and Minny don't have the financial where-with-all to take on his uninsured contract.

I wouldn't mind having whatever they are smoking if anyone really believes we could get Love for Amare.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

I will miss Shumpert but we still have JR Smith.

Its a long shot. Probably unrealistic but Reddick aint changing the landscape of the league alone

I like Reddick's game but I don't see how adding Reddick would be any better than starting Shump at the 2 and Amare at the 4. Offense is not our problem...it's rebounding.

Doesn't orlando want him for their own "coming home"? They can "Moobitize" his return into a resurection of sorts.

Agree 100% kmart, lou Amundson or anyone else whi falls through the cracks after thursday. I would consider giving up on shumps perimter D but not for reddick hickson or milsap. Not worth having a gapping hole defensiveli in the backcourt

Red-Dick is a better defender than shump for the time being.

And its all about the here and now.

Knicks lack toughness not offense. 3rd in the league in offense. 16th in defense

Another myth potentially debunked I guess...... because we've been told "everybody wants to play in NYC"....only time I've seen this to be true is when DAT paper is righteous

Sure but the Knicks need a big. Instead of trying to get JJ why not try and get a player that addresses our need? Heck, why not inquire about a guy like Dejuan Blair?

I'd make the deal if I could get Jameer Nelson to spell Felton and Redick. JJ is a consistent scoring option, something the Knicks need now and Nelson could fortify the backup PG spot. Shumpert for Redick is short-sighted.

Knicks offense is heavily dependant on Melo. Having another shooter will only help.

Yeah but that's what Melo does. Getting a big who can play some D and most importantly rebound is what we need.

Knicks are also being conscious of the salary cap. Reddick is 29. I doubt he gets an outrageous deal. Probably 5-7 million per for 4 years.

He may look like a kid, but weirdly he always seems to have great sources- guess players and GMs must think their helping out some school kid with his project.

This trade ain't happening though- Reddick makes $6mil, which makes it difficult for us to match salaries. We'd have to include Shump AND Novak, which makes the trade pointless for us.

Well said
Trade is dumb, Ilike reddick
But NO trade of shump

The knicks our heroes ain't winning nba title this yr even if it traded for Kobe
So what's the point?

Too many gaps next yr will be our turn & Shump need to be part of that!

I like Shump but he is highly over rated. Alot of guys out there say they want proven all stats for Shump....

Someone at work said Calderon for Shump....another said some stupid **** to get Chris Paul.

Shump is a young shooting guard, that can't really shoot. Can dunk but can't really drive. He has a cramping problem and had two major injuries in one season causing him to miss Alot of last year and almost all of this yeaar....i say we sell high while there is ingest and fill in holes.....shump isn't stopping wade. If that's why we got him that's a huge fail. Wade can't be guarded one on one by anyone

We need 2 way players come playoff time. Chandler is already offensively challenged. Martin and Amundson are still available.

I love the idea of adding more offense to the offense...Redick better get behind our Blackholes in Melo/Earl/Amar'e
