The guy is a backup at best. His defense is non-existent as well.

Ridnour will likely be getting chewed out by Woodson in no time.

Ridnour is not much worse defensively than Felton, Kidd & Prigioni

Yeah he is. Not only do guards blow by him, but he's weak and gets pushed around as well.

And how is that different than Felton, Kidd, and Prigioni?

it has been obvious that we need another PG outside of Felton

Kidd is not a PG
Pablo is a 3rd string PG

neither can penetrate and stay in front of guards

While Ridnour is not stronger than Felton
His ability to penetrate, facilitate, create quality shots, and hit 3pters is what we need

Again, I would be happy with Barea because he should cost much less to obtain, and had sucessful experience with Tyson/Kidd
If Grunweld doesn't want to trade for someone, the least he can do is add Jannero Pargo who was no resigned to Atlanta after a brief 10 contract
In addition of the FA's of Kmart or Amoundson

NOT making any changes at this point, we will continue to rely on Camby/Wallace/Kidd which doesn't seem to be reliable as they will have to get back in game shape
Just look at our 2nd half schedule, it is very important to finish strong and build that chemistry we once had in the start of our season
We need help on our defense/speed/mobility *Guard and a PF/C*, 3point shooting, and penetration
Woodson just doesn't have the players to play the style of defense that he wants us to play, with our lack of size/speed/quickness, we cannot cheat and help EVERYONE everytime, it just doesn't work, way too many mismatches everynight

Barea is another selfish and inefficient player that I really don't like.

he is a scorer that can penetrate and finish
stay in front of PG's on defense
He facilitated much more in Dallas with the talent around him but with the Twolves and their injuries, he doesn't have that luxury
he was a big factor in the way they finished the season, played well in the playoffs, and beat the Heat in the finals

Barea
Terry
Dirk

were the ones that initiated the offense
they all played as #1 options and created space for one another

in term's of value, he should be the cheapest to attain because he makes much than Ridnour and has an extra year

I watched almost all the Minny games last year up until Rubio got hurt. Everytime Barea played with Rubio I found myself continuously yelling at my TV. I was so furious that Barea refused to pass the ball, especially to Rubio.

He played well in Dallas' playoff run but has not been impressive since.

We don't need another selfish chucker.

it this when KLove and/or Pekovic were injured?

Because Rubio is not a good shooter and often get's left open, and unwilling to shoot the shot, playing with no #1 option changes things, while Barea has the ability to penetrate and hit the 3pt shot

Rubio came out of the gate blazing. He was so much fun to watch - his passing was incredible. He was creating for everyone. Every time Barea came in to the game, he would just chuck and did not see or want to see the floor at all.

JR smith can score and penetrate too but takes horrible shots and often kills the flow. We don't need another player that is gonna look to go one on one.

I would rather priggy play over Barea any day. Look at Barea's TS - and, Bonns favorite, Win Shares.

Not for nothing but so did stoudemire. Ridnour was stats first choice.

Ridnour is better orchestrator than felton.

He's the type of point guard that would've won us 60 games with D'Antoni, Amar'e and Gallinari,

And Ridnour is the type of point guard we still need with Melo and Tyson, guy is dish first no crazy ****
