I would enjoy very much an empty meaningless sweep of the Celtics as long as Pierce and KG are on the floor. Its time they got one handed to them by the KNicks.
I want Miami in the ECF's.
If you want to be the man, you have to play the man.......
yeah, that would be sweet. Never had the hate for Rondo that I do for those 2fake ass tough guys. You notice how respectful Garnett was in the 2nd game. He knows Melo will eat his lunch if he gets out of pocket with him again. The guys that put him in his place never seem to have an issue with him again.
do you honestly believe that?
Have you EVER seen him go at someone like a 2nd time after they showed they weren't having it? Did he ever get out of pocket with Peeler or Steve Francis a 2nd time. Ever went back at that guy from Detroit he called a Cancer patient. This is his m.o. he doesn't go at people that will go back at him.
not sure about peeler, how much longer was he in the league, and honestly, peeler actually hit him... not sure KG was shook by someone waiting by his bus... I just don't get it... Honestly, KG comes off as the kind of guy that once he has you shook, which he had carmelo rattled, he will just save it for another time.. the next game was too predictable as carmelo's over the top drama caused a lot of attention to be focused on the matter.. believe me.. garnett has this filed away for another time....He can be a sneaky dude, and I have the feeling this is far from the end.....
KG isn't gonna do whatever he did that day again. He may try something else.He doesn't do anything to Duncan anymore, because he know Duncan can still tear him up on the court like he ALWAYS have.
The best way to get KG back is to beat him on the court, which the team did.
yea, KG will shut up when beat.. but squeaking out a game in boston that honestly could have gone either way, is not teaching him a lesson.... a good old fashion blowout, rub in your face victory may start... right now they have eliminated us in the playoffs and beat us when it counts.. reversing that will only shut KG up, and stop pierce from taking half court bows..
Only time will tell on the latter, but for now, he got beat, the Knicks got the last say, in their building, someplace that hasn't happened in a long time even before this group got assembled.
Blowouts aren't needed, as long they make the effort to consistently beat them, that's all that's needed.
That's what Boston had been doing prior, rarely blowouts, just consistent winning.
