Do we really need his shooting or, if we can trade can trade him for a veteran rebounder, NOT AN OLD GUY AT THE END OF HIS CAREER, someone like a Gortat, probably can't get a Gortat for him but you get the idea, someone that will play filthy for you

Yea, I would trade Novak for a veteran tough guy
No Novak's three shooting is too important to team

Cope CANT play D well

Cope hasnt had enuff time in NBA games to learn the nuances of NBA d.He has busy feet and thats the first thing a d player needs

The basics you learn in grade school, he doesn't even have the proper stance that's taught early as a kid.

So you're disagreeing that the basics of defense is pretty much the first thing you learn in basketball?

Cunningham played really well against us, he would be a nice pick in the off season as a bigger 3\4 with a jumpshot.

Talking about trading Steve Novak for "veteran muscle"? What a joke.

Novak is automatic from beyond the arc. Led the entire NBA last year in 3 point field goal percentage. Here in 2012-2013? He's ranked 3rd in 3 point field goal percentage, with a 3PT% of .448%. Only behind Bonner and Curry. Ray Allen and Kyle Korver round out the top 5.

The man pretty much never misses a free throw either (.933%).

Trade our greatest overall (pure) shooter for another "veteran player"? What a laughing stock joke.

If our core group of Kidd, Felton, Shumpert, J.R Smith, Melo, Stoudemire and Tyson are (all) healthy come postseason play? Novak is going to become a machine come playoff time. As of right now we're healthy outside of Felton with Shumpert making his return.

Alright, well, I hope you at least had good laughs from all the jokes

It's good to have automatic gunners,

It's also good to have filthy tough guys who do dirty works, and we don't really have that,

I want someone who will back Melo up next time KG want's to pop the smack

I'd rather melo do like KG, Rock him on the court, and win the game.

Same here, hopefully he busts the proverbial cap in KG's ass next game (which is January 24th btw)
