at least not one who's better than Pablo anyway. He's averaging 8 points, 7 assists per 36 min. I don't think you'll get something better without giving up much.

Per my eyes, I don't care what his stats projected in a vacuum. The guy is an emergency point guard, Novaks value as ""the best shooter in the league" should be able to get a point guard of Watsons level who is currently wasting away in Utah. Watson is at least 3 times better than Priggy.

What are vacuum projected stats?

Somber thought:

Team was build to combat media hype machine that was brooklyn.

Quick start with BKN decline is good for MSG.

Just a somber conspiracy. Nobody thinking beyond this season. Not a bad thing mind you, but the full effect of our veteran team combined with a lack of youth and assets to restore youth makes this a real make it or break it year.

"Its just injuries, without them we are great"....Its a nice thought or a wishful fable.

Its why we play the games. 5-7 last 12 games is due to injury but with our roster is it the exception or the norm going forward?

The biggest injuries that have affected our play have been Melo and Felton. It doesnt really have anything to do with the old guys when your core, prime starters are getting hurt.

The core will wear down if there is no support.

Amare is core right? Shump is core?

I love the theory that if you consider Amare-Felton-Shump being our starters and consider the games missed its a nice thought to think better days ahead.

But we don't know what Amare really gives us?

Im concerned. Not overly somber or fatalistic, but not Fableiscous either.

All this talk of who we should have signed is pointless and depressing.

Camby is signed for this season and 2 more beyond. Ditto for Kid.

We should all pray every night for Camby's feet to eventually get to healthy.

If Amare/Felton/Melo stay healthy none of the senior citizens on the team should have to play major minutes. It's the combination of all 3 being injured this season that's caused all of our backups to be playing way more minutes than they should be.

Felton, Shump, Melo, Amare, Chandler healthy =

fresher Sheed, Camby, Kidd, Prigioni

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

This why I was never happy with the roster, while I have to admit that the Knicks play hard, after signing Kidd I thought they should have gone for some undervalue player may be OJ Mayo or Carl Landry, they both signed for around 4 million per season for two only.

We all would have wanted OJ Mayo...but would he have wanted to play here in a limited role, and competing for minutes with shump, jr, and felton?

Camby's deal is essentially done after next year. A third year had to be included so that it could be a sign and trade.

Out of all of old broke players I think we are missing Rasheed most of all.

Chicago was younger faster better than us. We would have zero chance to beat them best out of 7 This is going to be a 5 or 6 seed as composed

The reason they could survive despite not having Rose for the entire season is because they added Hinrich and Nate but what they bring doesn't show up in the boxscore. We let Lin walk for nothing and added two 40yr old PGs

Not only did we let Lin walk for nothing, we also through Toney Douglas into a deal that was already lopsided against us.

To be fair Douglas would not give this team more than Kidd and Prigioni. Douglas is the king of over dribbling and settling for jumpshots instead of penetrating and dishing. Hinrich is a play maker and can hit midrange shots. His effectiveness doesn't show up in the boxscore. Nate can penetrate and wreak havok and knock down open threes

We are carrying Four shooting guards and Two point guards, you would think logic would say go and get another point guard.

We are carrying 3 injury prone front court players(Tyson does have an injury past too) and 3 guys over 38.

We are carrying a three point specialist that can't effect a game unless he is wide open at the four spot and a rookie offensive specialist who can't rebound enough to see the floor also at the four spot. Logic would say you go and get a rebounder defender to help the injury prone/ old guys at the four spot.

Knicks need help at backup point guard and somebody to help Chandler out defensively.

I don't care if they trade Novak or cut Copeland, we need one of specialist off the roster and they need to cut White or Brewer, again I don't which, we need a back up point guard and another body at the four.
