![]() sealy wrote:I remembered when I stopped liking KG while he was on the T-Wolves. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/magazine/MAG1198491/3/index.htm – In fact, Duncan hates Kevin Garnett. Hates him the way liberals hate Sean Hannity. This information comes from very reliable sources, who talk about how KG has made a career of trying to punk Duncan, baiting him and slapping him and whispering really weird smack into his ear. They talk about how funny this is, because the worst thing you can do as an opponent is piss off Duncan. Then, as Malik Rose says, “he f—— destroys you.” Duncan’s lifetime numbers versus Garnett’s teams, by the way: 20.02 points per game, 12.15 boards and a 29–19 record, including the postseason. Duncan is diplomatic about the topic. Asked if perhaps all those years battling Garnett have softened his feelings for the man, led to a Magic-Larry type of kinship, Duncan leans back on the couch in his hotel room and grins. There is a pause. A longer pause. Finally he says, “Define kinship.” |

I personally think Charlie Villanueva should've beat the crap out of KG aafter the Cancer patient comment. Enough is enough!!! |

![]() Wow is that what he said ??? And Melo went bezerk ?
Man we all had ya mama smell like _______ Jokes all the time it's called ribbing. Now when when you have a temper those jokes are used to get you off mentally. If you would talk about somebody's girl or sister in a suggestive way, we would just come back and say yea your girl smell and likes to rock like this ________ and that would be the ribbing topic of the day. This is very immature on both parties involved, but the one(Garnett) knows how to use it as an advantage because he is a player who would do anything to win.

![]() KG is almost like a heel (the bad guy) in pro wrestling. He'll get on the mic and talk **** about you or people close to you to get you mega pissed off. During the match, while the ref's back is turned, he'll strike you in the nuts or hit you in the head with brass knuckles or something.
Only difference here is in wrestling, the heel almost always gets his comeuppance in the end. He'll get his soon, hopefully. -- the preceding post was brought to you by the letter K and the number 22.

I swear to the almighty if the situation had been reversed you & a few others wouldve been screaming about how Bush league Melo was & how he needs to be a better man to be the leader of a championship team. Why is then that all of KG's dirty tactics seem to gt overlooked because of the fact that he much like lebron conspired to join forces with two other fading superstars & won, one measly chip. the dude is a A-Hole plain & simple & no amout of Celtic lore can change that!!! Try Jock Riding for your own team once in your miserable history on this board or go elsewhere ((Hey no offense dude it's just gamesmanship...I'm just trying to win this debate)) |

There is such a thing as being overly competitive, even in professional sports. I don't think some people realize it but it's true. If you are going to call someone a cancer patient or make a reference to having an affair with someones wife to get in someones head during the game, then you are taking a very unimportant thing way too serious. I agree that Melo went too far after the game, but I cannot blame him either. Family comes first. I hope Lala is proud. Is it cool? No, it's not cool, but I don't take what you say seriously. To get angry is to add substance to a statement that lacks it. Besides, as for your statement, I bet you wish you were tapping that. Be jealous. Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

![]() KG is a punk but knows what he is doing.
It was only one way for them to win the game - take Melo out somehow. So he did. It was all decided before the game and executed perfectly. What is really important in NBA - win the damn game. How, nobody cares. Melo was distracted and Woody should take him out not run him on adrenalin. We have tendency to lose the collective team cool for no reason and NBA teams are starting to notice. We need Sheed on the court badly in this games to take guys like KG out of the game with him. "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy." Hamlet

![]() actually the most effective tactic to use on melo is to get him in early foul trouble then rough him up. he has no response for that because he lacks the guile to draw fouls. he needs to get to the line 15 times in games like this. either that or woody needs to run him behind a screen or two all game to keep him out of trouble. he was going one on one while being on tilt and in a rush.
knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%
