Is NBA TV going to have a bean counter for the amount of times he mentions he was raised in the West side of Chicago?

Hard to give credit to someone who (under his watch) gave us a collection of the worst seasons in this franchise's history. He was an overpaid, overpowered talent scout.

The only talent he was good at scouting (and that was overstated) was his ability to find talent in the draft. Isiah was absolutely TRASH at evaluating guys that were already in the NBA.

There were guys he traded for that I often wonder if he brought them in so they would stop torching his teams.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

It's pretty easy to tear apart walsh's plan, hiring of a coach, and the personnel moves that he made. Everything related to isiah when Walsh took over was considered bad. There was a rumor that Walsh was going to send the pick that became gallo, and Zach to a team willing to take troubled Zach and his contract. I really wish Walsh hired MJax and gave him some time to work with the personnel in place.

Me too...Walsh is a good dude..I just hated his moves...I love defense..He hired MDA...Run and gun just killed me...Then DLee trade that took on contracts we didnt need if we were going after Bron..Traded a pick and JHill to Houston for TMac... Bender, Walsh's pup, getting burn over Hill killed me....MDA, god awful MDA..Dude didn't want Melo..Melo, we need u to stand in the corner and shoot threes...What a joke..Dude gets another job, pronto..hahahahha..Now the Fakers are battling with Charlotte's and Cleveland's of the world to the end, like we use to do...Classic...U can't make this stuff up...

isiah knew talent, just didn't know how to put it together and often gave up too much value to get that talent.. that was his problem.. he should have been a scout, not a GM or coach..

Absolutely agree. Is Zach Randolph a good player? Yep. Is David Lee a good player? Yep. Can David Lee and Zach Randolph play together? Umm, No! Same with Nate and Crawford. Heck, even at this point of their careers, putting Zach, Lee, Craw and Nate on the same team would not result in many wins. Zike couldnt build a team to save his life- a backcourt of Marbury and Steve Francis?! Ha! Here's some other players he thought could contribute:

Eddy Curry
Jalen Rose
That chubster we got from the Rockets (can never remember his name- played offense but no defense)
Channing Frye
Jared Jeffries (at his salary the first time round)
Jerome James
Tim Thomas
