How old are you? Please state your age. If you wish to mention your age to your name thats cool.

No agenda, just curious. Might be fun to have a snapshot census of sorts.

Can we sticky this just for a few days so the population sees it and hopefully votes?

fair is fair. Those old timers that come to the park kicking the kids butts, they never take it easy on them. I remember being like 16, and thinking I was the next Jordan. Me and a bunch of friends played against a group of old timers who came to the park. They kicked our asses and, I have never been blindsided by screens like I was by them.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Don't worry dude, MARV has gotta be in his like mid 70s. I mean seriously, he shoots a two hand set shot & carries an industrial sized tub of Be Gay to the UK pick up games

Why does he need lube on pick up games?

MANNNN, talk about getting schooled. That first screen, I still remember it vividly. Dude added a little shoulder into it...I never saw it coming and ended up on my ass. You'd think I'd have learned after the 1st one. They had set plays and all!! When I talk about getting your ass handed to you, it was obvious they played together a lot.

Your teammates gotta call out the screens. Old school ball means talking on D. That will fix those old foggies. Wait, I am an old foggie. Scratch that. Keep on doing what you are doing. You will be fine.

That was an OLD memory I was sharing with my fellow posters. I was like 16 at the time. Now I'm 42 and experiencing aches and pains I never experienced before. My knees hurt like hell when it rains or if there is a lot of moisture in the atmosphere and Milk give me terrible gas

Back in NY there was this guy who used to ball where I did who was in his 70s. The guy could make a high arcing hook shot with either hand over practically anyone, myself included. It was funny watching these overconfident young guys who thought they were the **** getting schooled by a senior citizen.

You know what I hate? Old guys that can still play but is always moaning and groaning on every play. I mean not saying anything but he sounds like he is getting stabbed and mugged on plays you barely touch him. Then all of a sudden he they are up 5 cause you back-off and your team needs to wait for next game. Hmmmmm....I think I will start doing that when I get a chance to play.

Me too but he wasn't one of them. To your point, when I first started playing with the old guys I would notice that they would play for about a minute and argue for another 5. After a while I asked someone why they argued so damned much and he said it was because they're tired and using it as an excuse to catch their breath. I'm one of the old guys now but that's not my style unless its a cheap shot or point game.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I still look pretty young and I get carded a lot when I go out. Maybe I should just start lying about my age and say I'm 26.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come
