Tyson Chandler’s TS% in this game was .765.

This raised his TS% on the season by one point, to .753, which would demolish his own single-season record of .708 set last year.

He has 213 points on 111 FGA.

His FG% on the season is now .721. The all-time single season record is Wilt Chamberlain in 1972-73 with .727. Serge Ibaka ranks second in the NBA at .595.

He’s averaged 16.6 PPG over his last 8 games.

Most efficient scorer in the history of the game?!

15 PTS, 14 RBS a game this month on 67% shooting. Flu Tyson is long gone.

Package Kidd and Tyson for Durant. We solve our 2 guard spot and KD can catch and shoot all day off of Melo post ups.

LOL! WS and WP are very well-validated but I do think there are some aspects to the game they miss. Tyson's probably closer to top 10 rather than actually #1.

4. Jason Kidd-NYK .254
5. LeBron James-MIA .253
6. Tim Duncan-SAS .246
7. Kobe Bryant-LAL .240
8. Marc Gasol-MEM .239
9. Tiago Splitter-SAS .235
10. Tony Parker-SAS .207
11. Carmelo Anthony-NYK .198

13. Chris Bosh-MIA .196
14. Eric Bledsoe-LAC .196
15. Andray Blatche-BRK .193

17. Ed Davis-TOR .188
18. Zach Randolph-MEM .187
19. Serge Ibaka-OKC .183
20. David West-IND .181

Wins produced gives more credit to Kidd and Tyson and less to Melo (mostly because of his rebounding and turnovers)

With that game Flu Tyson should've dropped to 200.

"Should have"? I'm sure the #s were correctly entered into the formula and he dropped the amount he should have.

The eye test says he had one of his worst games this season against the Nets without Brook Lopez and got repeatedly torched by Andray Blatche.

Agreed; that's why he dropped from first to third.

.009 doesn't seem like too much a penalty, but whatever. I'm sure he'll bounce back against Dwight (hopefully).

He didn't hurt the team any worse than a 3 for 12 or 8 for 22 performance by Melo though. One game won't and shouldn't kill your WS - not when there have already been almost two months of games.

He actually did kill the Knicks more than any bad shooting performance by Melo.

2 quick fouls and Reggie Evans had like 11 boards by the end of the first, not to mention a 17 point deficit.

Maybe 11 boards by Evans has something to do with our starting PF only getting 5 for the whole game?

Tyson didn't have an awful game - he had a low volume game. 5 points on 5 shots is low volume. 5 points on 15 shots would be awful.

Maybe 11 boards by Evans has something to do with our starting PF only getting 5 for the whole game? The blame for another players' rebounding can't be given entirely to one player.

Plusminus of -5 when Chandler was on the floor.

BTW, Melo's plus/minus was in negative territory last year. Do you think the Knicks would have won more games without him or do you reject the validity of the plus/minus stat?

Doesn't it? He's the primary rebounder for the Knicks. The reigning DPOY.

What does last year have to do with this season and Tyson's last game against the Nets?

And he had a subpar game like I said - if you do value the plus/minus stat, then it was a loss of just two possessions (5 points) with Tyson on the court. That seems to contradict your claim that his WS should have dropped 200 points.
Thank you, Tyson!
