True. Although I truly believe the injuries that occurred late during the past 2 seasons to Amare, Melo and Lin is due to Dantoni's weak training camps where it would take the team 15-20 games to get in shape and by then we were fighting for our playoff lives and playing those guys 40mins a game riding them like a secretariat. A lot of nagging injuries throughout the year and these guys are in their prime. Reason imo was Dantoni doesnt push guys during training camp the way championship coaches do. If we have injuries this year it will be because we are old. That is why it is so important to kept the minutes of kidd, camby and sheed under 20 a game.

Well, I will agree that D'Antoni had guys playing too many minutes, but I believe it was due to the fact the team wasn't that talented. I don't necessarily agree about weak training camps; it's still up to the players to show up in shape. Guys are motivated this season, there's no denying that that's a factor in their conditioning.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Yep coming into camp in shape is a big plus but you still need to get into basketball shape. Everyone knows doing cardio in gym or playing pickup ball isn't the same as running up and down the court at nba speed

I think the rockets fans would feel the same way.. except in favor of lin and harden... if felton and Jr were the back court duo in Houston, they would not have a win....

In your world I guess not.

NO! in any world.. so are you saying the rockets would be better off with felton and JR smith... lets do this.. i will post this on the rockets board, and lets see if they agree...

or maybe it is just my world.. right?

Will you continue to post all your post on the Houston Board? Are Lin and Harden playing better offense and Defense than Smith and Felton are right now?

Is Lin and Harden being coach by woody

Lin and Harden's backcourt is terrible. It started off looking smooth like silk until Harden got fat in the head. Now he's Mr.Superstar who no longer wants to play team basketball. It's SHOOT FIRST, FIND TEAMMATES LATER.

Harden has been pretty good and is getting 4/5ast per game more frequently. There are times he calls his number a play or 2 too much, but let's stop like acting as if he's chucking for kicks.

Besides who are their scoring options besides him? He's attempting 18fga/gm which is about the average FGA a Top scorer will take as the lead dog on the team.

Steve really has to buckle down and flow. Ive never seen him shoot an air ball and again he took what would be called a rushed quick release three. Novak is an important piece--a needed piece and I think Woodson let him know that when he benched him. He's got to take his shot in the flow rebound and play good D. If his shot is not within rhythm--just move the ball with the spread court.

His shot wasn't falling in the preseason and I don't think he has been hitting it since the first game of the season Hope he finds it again.
