Then don't be. Go to a Houston Board and continue to be a Lin Whore. Tired of seeing fake ass Knick fans downing my team.

Yes its me the Lin thread flamer. I will continue until these bytch ass threads stop

Sounds like you are confusing "fan" with "fanatic". See, if you dislike something your team does or has done, you can speak out about it. You don't have to leave the team nor should you have to. Just like if you dislike something about your country you can try to change it, you don't have to leave. Where would that type of ideology have gotten us?

Remember, sports is a business (not to mention a huge distraction) and owners will listen when it affects their bottom line. What you see here is just a typical reflection of the fan base.

it doesn't take a **** load of threads for the world to know your (not you specifically) disillusioned. Would be different if it were women starting these - Oh I am so emotional and sad - feminine ass threads.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

This is the difference between a team fan and a player fan. You are all caught up on points, very Meloesque. Let your eyes be the judge. Lin helped us win, pure and simple. He had the highest +- Houstons first game, which was a win, just like he often had here in NY. I take the win over the stats, every day of the weak. Enjoy Melos great stats this year, somehow I don't think it will improve our chances to a championship, though we can hope. Miami won the championship and you are highlighting one game, his worst. Throw into the equation all the other games where he helped turn the team around.

We will all be watching that next Miami game...

You do understand that Melo has won more then Lin through out his basketball playing days from highschool to college to the pros.

Other then that I do agree Lin helps you win basketball games if you put him in position to succeed like many other players.

But there can only be one. Sad. I could care less about this team right now. Always a Knick fan, but I dont have to love this group. Not much lovable. Amare is just another good player gotten too late. More things change more they stay the same no?

Agree 100%.. but you get the feeling that carmelo wanted no part of lin and all the attention he received... which is why I never liked carmelo, selfish dude, wants to win his way or no way... hope he is happy with the team he has now.. no more excuses.. I will always be a knick fan, but can't root for this bunch with carmelo...

All these Lin threads are making me sad... but I'm a slightly homophobic dude, and that emotion is bitch ass... so it makes me MAD!

Trolling threads: a much more masculine trait.

I agree. I think we are bound to see Prigs start over Felton at some point. But coach is a bit firm and it might take a while.
Prigs knows how to lead a team. I like Felton but Prigs looks like a better pg as far as team play goes.

I was against it but, upon further thought it might be a good idea. If Amare was in the Lineup, I believe we'd have enough scoring in the starting lineup that Prig would be a better fit. At the same time, I'm not sure Felton has the patience to get the 2nd unit properly involved and will go into hero mode.

Whats with the rush to put Felton on the second unit? Felton played well during the preseason. Lets see how Prigs does when the games count and the intensity picks up before rushing him into the starting lineup.

Like I said, I doubt he'd mesh with the 2nd unit. On the other hand, the 2nd unit does have difficulty scoring. In fact, watching those guys try to score except for Cope is pretty comical. We could use Felton's scoring with that unit.

I like Felt and see him as a starter but, I think the bench needs more offense. Maybe it will look different with JR back in the Lineup. We'll see (hopefully TONIGHT

Prig is new and shiny (figuratively the greener grass). That is all. This board will be bashing Prig soon enough. Felton played well this pre-season and there is no indication from any Knick coach or source indicating that Felton won't be starting.

Prigs and Copes should run together anyways. Hopefully substitute Amare in a couple months for Cope, as that would be the ideal 2nd unit.

I'm looking forward to seeing how he does against Miami's pressure defense.
