Give it up dude. Please.

Sorry didn't plan on turning this into another Lin thread. I was just being critical of Felton's career. I wasn't the one who brought Lin's name up

Im a big lin fan but i have accepted that he si gone and i am happy with our 3 point guards we have

Agreed. I forgot how good Felton was here and how good he will be again especially with Kidd and Prigioni backing him up.

Felton has to keep shooting? You are not serious, right? He is an awful shooter! He needs to stop shooting.

U are crazy..It's not how u play basketball...Felton has to keep shooting to keep the defense honest...He has to gain confidence in his shot..It's pre-season where you work on your kinks...Woody has been telling him to shoot and praise the lord for it...If Felton's shot begins to fall we are a different team all together...He his doing everything u want in a PG except hitting his shot..We need some one to hit that outside shot Landry has been missing the last two years...I didn't want Fields to stop shooting either...His shot and his confidence could come in January, who knows, keep shooting...That will make us a tough out in June when it matters...Keep Shooting Felt, you look good out there...Keep shooting!!!!

You sound like MDA He told TD to keep shooting and that he did.

Felton is not horrible when he gets set up and shoots but he is awful shooting off the dribble and that is not what he is good at. Baron Davis used to do that too and I could not stand it. Stop trying to be a star and set up the others. Felton's other aspects of his game are really good. This part of it really has hurt him.

Not only MDA, every coach in basketball will tell u shoot the ball...U have too or it kills the team...The same thing for Rondo, who is worse...There is no reason for him not to shoot the ball right now...He has to gain confidence...He isn't a great shooter but if he can knock down the open J then it keeps his man out the lane where it affects the rest of the team...It keeps him from cheating defensively so Felton can blow by him...It's one of those things u hold your nose and watch...He has to shoot....He doesn't have to be Steve Nash, just knock down enough to make the defender stay close....

I don't remember if it was during our first round sweep at the hands of the celtics - but some analyst said that when Rondo's defender plays off his so much, it actually makes it easier for Rondo to make passes - and I believe we saw that the defense should always be up on a PG (unless they are 40 years old and too slow, so basically any knick PG this year) when I think it was Anthony Carter disobeyed MDA's game plan and actually got up in Rondo's grill, impacting the game. Though we still lost.

I remember that and I thought it was a silly comment at the time...The defender was actually affecting the passing lanes and made it easy to double the guys in the lane...

I am not that impressed... is this guy any better than ramon sessions? jarret jack? eric manor? jose calderon? kirk hinrich? I think all of those guys would mop up this prigs fella... I mean why is it that as soon as someone puts on a knicks uniform they are "good" regardless of what reality may dictate? I see constant lin criticism followed by " I love our PG lineup", " I can't wait to see PRIGS(lol prigs, this clown has a nickname now?) with amare"... I mean come on.. Lin has been more relevant in a week than this guy has in his whole euro career.. I mean is anyone asking why this is his first cup of coffee in the NBA? he is 35 years old for christ sakes... I am not saying he can't be a useful player for us, he may well be, but some of you guys are so funny....if we traded this guy tomorrow, I guarantee you everyone in here would be saying.. well he must not have been that good.... he was old anyway...... we are better off with Felton, kidd and (insert any name)...... for the love of god, I hope this guy is decent because our backcourt is in trouble with felton and (insert name) starting in the backcourt......

No need to be impressed with our third string PG...What should be more concerning to you is that Scott Marcado is outplaying Lin in the pre-season and should get the nod as the starter if this continues...Does McHale have the balls to do it...

why should I be concerned with that.. I am concerned that we keep getting rid of young talent..... and ending up with a constant mess.. year after year...

if marcado beats out lin then that means the rockets found another talent to add to their backcourt.. lucky them..... only if we were that lucky.. oh wait.. we were and we let him walk... smh

you are right we made the right decision in regards to lin. I really like pablo he plays like he is 25. Felton looks like a man on a mission so far

Young "talent" wanted to leave...If he didn't, JR and Novak may be more clever in figuring out how to stay...

On top of which Novak graduated from Marquette with a BA in communications studies. Not exactly MBA material.

On top of which JR is now seemingly embracing his bench role as second unit scorer.

On top of which JR graduated from high school.

Apparently a BA from Marquette and a hs education > Harvard economics degree when it comes to trying to figure out how to stay with the franchise you really want to retire from.

Loyalty has its price.

Bottom line was Knicks told him to get a price. He did.

Knicks did not match.

Lin would be crazy to not accept a 25mm 3 year contract.

i have watched him for a while overseas and he is a good point guard especially for a 3rd string point guard which is what he will be for us

He's no more special than Jebus Vasquez or Juan Carlos Sabarro. You guys love to George Micheal Hype Machine everything. This is the very reason Lin is despised now. Calm down a hundred thousand trillion. We have 3 point guards ask yourself what contending team has ever one a chip with a 3 headed platooning point guard system. I'll give you the answer....IT DOESN'T EXIST

There is only 1 ball and 48min.

If Felton is on a mission he's playing 30-32min/gm

If Kidd is anything first year Dallas he's playing 12-15min/gm

So where does Picasso get his meaningful minutes to impact the game? If Escobar is playing heavy rotation minutes.... then this means Kidd's designated driver is slipping and someone has managed to get Curry's cupcake supplier hooked up with Felton.

I feel Felton may return to a mixture of his best under LB and D'Antoni at the same time I see sloppy Felton still. Kidd is pretty much done
