He gave you a reason. We are adults.

My take is Melo, or any other player might be a knick in uniform but has not endeered himself to SOME fans. some forgave all his past as soon as he comes thru the door. To each his own. Few around here are causual fans.

I think there are some that bonded with guys like Gallo and Wilson were were here a few years and like them. Just because they are traded does not mean they are "bad". To wish them badly to justify the trade is more akin to loving the uniform than the players, but only if the players are wearing orange and blue.

Clyde played in Cleveland. Bernard In Washington, Ewing in Orlando and Seattle.

And Spree played in Minnesota and Mase played in Charlotte and Camby and KT played damn near everywhere... no one that came in their respective places ever got this level of hate. I don't remember anyone here ever killing Jim Cleamons or crucifying Vin Baker, for that matter. I didn't particularly care for KVH, Spree manlove aside. I didn't hate the guy. I hated Layden and his Utah-loving background for doing the trade. I never criticize anyone for hating Dolan. I do enough of it myself. Still like the uniform.

I think the issue is not that anyone is wishing Gallo, Changling or Moz ill, but it's with the constant 3 posters [see poll above] who equate their "bonding" with the yoots as a causal issue for their Melo negativity. You don't have to wish the yoots bad, all anyone has to do is bring up what they are now. Is that wishing them bad?
The justification actually is more in the opposite direction, pumping up the yoots and the past and the supposed potential given up to justify the hate for a player you're not endeared to. And apparently may never be.

Yeah, I really do like the uniform. Always have. I'm silly that way. I wasn't crazy about getting JR Smith. But he's got the jersey, he's got the dunk and he's been flying pretty straight. I'm a fan now.

Melo took a pile of shit to the playoffs his first year here and fought. Even tried to make Fishlips a hero. It didn't work out.

Maybe I should have spent more time watching and hating him in Denver. Missed out on that.

Either you are just attempting to be silly and disruptive or you just don't give a damn about having a legit conversation. I think it has been detailed as to why we are not a fan of carmelo... and to basically drum it up as having a bonding with the guys traded is just uninformed and silly.... I know for sure myself and another poster didn't like carmelo before we drafted any of the kids, so why keep perpetuating these lies.. your whole argument is smoke and mirrors and lacks integrity..

tkf, seriously, do you read any of the other threads on this board? Do you want to go back and look at the number of threads and posts that refer to exactly what I'm saying here? You base your view on "myself and another poster". You really have a tremendous sense of your own importance, don't you?

You tell me my argument is smoke and mirrors and lacks integrity. You have "myself and another poster". Do you even think about what your posting reads like?

Please, you make no sense, you make no points, and you end posts with middle school brilliance like:

a week later, he responds. Very well thought-out, by the way.

Thanks for the break.

In other news, Obama kicks Romney's rhoids back into his colon, Yankees lose, negative Melo pulse votes climb 40%!

Yeah, I thought if we got a good turnout we could put it to rest.

so far 80% is not Negative. what is perpetuating the debate is two fold:

Media and the 60% who keeps responding to the 20%.

The Majority is pretty much in favor or still open (neutral) to Melo.

Thats the pulse. So when the majority responds to "all those who hate on melo", its just 20% or 5 posters.
Thats it.
