Get it out your systems. Lin is gone and will avg blah blah blah and do blah blah blah. Its over in NY and big deal. He was good I hoped he would have resigned but dang lets not forget how he had his problems on D and protecting the ball.

i think you are overreacting. Most people have moved on and we are looking forward to OUR team but anybody who like basketball is intrigued by lin especially how he did. So its not taht big of deal man

“Every single night, you don’t see it coming,” Tyson Chandler marveled. “And then he does it again.”

"The way he goes about things, you would never know all of this was going on," said Chandler, adding, "He's the same guy who was coming here early, fighting for a 10-day contract."

"'I knew the Knicks organization wanted him back,' Tyson Chandler said after training with the Olympic team in Manchester, England. 'I know his teammates wanted him back. I felt like Jeremy wanted to come back, but you can’t pass up what Houston threw out there.'"

Here's what Marion and Dirk said about him

“Him in this system is amazing,” Marion said. “Him being able to make the pass and being willing to make the pass, it is a great opportunity that opens a lot of things for the team. For his size, he is able to make some passes that some other guards can’t make, and at the same time, it is like he doesn’t care about having a turnover, and that’s very rare. You have to try to take certain things away from him. But he’s a feisty little thing, I give him credit, he plays hard. There were a thousand pick-and-rolls out there, it is a lot of work to guard.”

Another future Hall of Famer was surprised by what he saw, too. “He is tough,” Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki said. “I thought we tried to trap him off the pick-and-roll, but he is crafty. He knows how to get to the basket, he knows how to cut off, spin and still get to his spots. ... I really like him, and he is a great example that if you work hard and get your opportunity you can make the best of it. He is inspirational.”

Here's what Kobe said about him

"Players don't usually come out of nowhere. If you can go back and take a look, his skill level was probably there from the beginning, but no one ever noticed. … It is a great story. It is a testament to perseverance and hard work. It is a good example to kids everywhere."

And they all know he's an undersized two guard who is at his best when scoring. Has some passing ability. Nothing there about running a team, setting up offense and reading defense. Again, He is still learning. He hasn't learned those things at this point.

Tyson bought it up.

He is trying to make his guards feel good. Felton has big shoes to fill.

KNicks propaganda machine at work.

It ain't like he denying the holocaust happened, he is just talking up Felton-Kidd and the incredible Pablo!

They take the phrases "Run the offense" and "Get guys to where they need to be" and mistake them for "good passer". Making nice passes and running an offense is two different things. Chandler is absolutely right. I've been saying exactly what he said to all of my friends. Kidd is someone who can read defenses, learn team mates and bring out the best in them. He has a command as far as what needs to happen in the game. Felton isn't where Kidd is but is someone who runs an offense fairly well when in the right system (he's no hall of famer but solid). Felton does this to a lesser extent but he IS a play maker. Jeremy Lin is at his best when he is scoring. Lin, to me, is an undersized 2 guard who has the ability to make some nice passes here and there. Chandler is clearly stating the facts. Lin does not run an offense. Maybe one day he will. But not at this point. Once again, learn the game of basketball. He is refering to a pointguard's ability to run an offense not his ability to simply make a few nice passes. Hate when people confuse the two.

i forgot more basketball then you will most likely ever know.. but why not address me directly... lin did a great job running the offense and chandler got more easy baskets with lin since he has been with Cp3....

this is another homer post bro... simple and plain. funny how you are apologizing for felton... using phrases.. " when in the right system", " he isn't where kidd is"... LOL what is the right system? this one? felton had his best stretch ever playing under dantoni bro!! and he isn't where kidd is? then why in the hell is he starting.. and you claim to know much about basketball? dude don't ever question me and then come back with an excuse riddled post.... please...

actually you need to learn the game of basketball and stop being such a homer....when has felton ever shown an ability to run an offense outside of dantoni and that is questionable? but the point here mr homer, is that we still had kidd, he was more than willing to back up lin... now tell me how the hell is chandler right about felton a guy who was a absolute mess running the blazers offense into the ground?

chandler is talking out the side of his mouth and you put on your homer cap and cosigned him.. absolutely " ridiculous"...

Who are you? No need to get into it with anyone I either don't know and/or respect. My points all stand and will proven with the season. Not hard to comprehend at all actually.

i am sure you were spitting that same stuff the past few years when you were wrong.....

and when has felton ever been successful at doing that.. jason kidd was going to be here anyway, but this backing felton as some floor general and upgrade is hilarious.. pretty much the same way knick fans were buying time saying baron davis was going to save our season...

the point was to have kidd here with lin, kidd can no longer play at a high level for extended periods but lin had that potential, that along with kidd's help would have given the knicks a competent and actually pretty good poing guard tandem.... i am not buying felton as this guy who can run an offense, he was horrible last year.. all of last year..

felton did have some success under dantoni with amare.... but dantoni was run out by melo and amare is no longer allowed to do pick and roll I guess.. he is to now become hakeem while carmelo plays iso ball all day long....

How that is being disputed is hilarious.

The team needed guys who can run the offense, and not just get theirs first, then look for others.

The better pg's do that.

Lin may develop into that, but right they need guys who they believe can do it right now.

kidd was coming here with lin.. that fact that he is now trying to big up felton is hilarious and of course the knick fans took their dose of sour grapes and are backing this foolishness...

chandler is a funny dude, this team is full of funny dudes...

So....what did he say that was wrong?

Correction: Felton has been average to below average for all but 3 months of his 9yr career. Those 3 months came under Dantoni and even then he was slowing down drastically

Ironically his career stats are quite similar to Chauncey Billups.

Hopefully Felton turns his career around the way Chauncey did in Detroit. Young Billups wasn't the Billups we now know in his early years in Boston and Denver. Larry Brown is known for getting the most out of his pgs. He even had Marbury and the knicks playing well for 6 games until the self proclaimed best pg shot his mouth off against kidd right before facing the Nets and losing and the rest is history with starbury and Isiah

Okay that's the way you play the Villain or Enemy Nemesis or the Resister to Enemies. While I think Chandler is being a jerk here but can respect the name dropping. He's basically saying Lin wasn't going to cut it

I see nothing wrong with what he said. Lin, was in fact a young pg, who was learning the position. Never said Lin wasn't going to cut it, he just said he "wasn't there yet." Dont we say that about all rookies (Lin was a rookie in terms of starting and running a team) Seriously, how is he being a jerk?

lol @ Tyson now trying to get his pot shots in.

How sad this team is becoming almost unbearable in terms of character not an single ounce of integrity in these guys. Look if you're going to be the Villain/Foe/Bad Guy/Nemesis/Rogue whatever even if per say some may think you're not that personally...ummmmm if you're playing part then play right and play it fully

Don't be cryptic....

Don't say stuff to the press like "SOME GUYS AREN'T BUYIN IN"

Don't say stuff to the press like "SOME GUYS ARE USED TO LOSIN I'M NOT USED TO LOSIN"

Don't say stuff to the press like "SOME GUYS NEED TO UNDERSTAND THIS SYSTEM WORKS AND UNDERSTAND THEIR ROLES"

Don't say stuff to the press like "SOME GUYS WOULD HAVE A PROBLEM IN THE LOCKER ROOM WITH THE CONTRACT"

Don't say stuff to the press like "WE DIDN'T HAVE A POINT GUARD ALL LAST YEAR"

Don't say stuff to the press like "22-, 23-, 24- year old guys"

Don't say stuff to the press like "luckily I'm not mgmt I'm sure there was a lot involved into why we didn't bring him back"

Be real, name drop say how you feel personally, don't be wishy-washy

Reading is fundamental...JR said the bolded not Tyson...

Tyson will do well in politics one day.

I like the dude but the MSG Ministry of Public Statements and Department of Reeducation signs the checks. Don't blame them for what they say.
