But u do know he is a flop specialist right?

for an ex-knick he should be given some leeway, dontcha think? he served the cause with honor and passion while he was here before being kicked to the curb, no?

just so we know exactly where your heart is at, howsabout listing all the notorious floppers in the nba?

of course the longer the list the lighter the burden of guilt and the more ridiculous singling him out becomes... especially as an ex-knick.

right?

dk, why even bother.... this is just pure homerism.. attack ex knicks, especially one that a lot of people liked and was involved in a trade for their hero who is getting absolutely killed by the fans, media and heck former players.. LOL.. it is simple, criticize carmelo, they go after gallo.... homerism at it's worst..... call him a flopper, punk, euro trash, it doesn't matter.... he came to the garden and stuck it to carmelo and the knicks....and on top of that, his team has been better since the trade.... so all of this sillyness about him being a flopper is really a last grasp by the homers.. as sad as it may seem, they will keep grabbing and reaching at whatever they can.. that is what people do when they are drowning....

gallo is a good kid and teamate and most of all loved and wanted to play in NY..... and he didn't run a coach or a popular player out of town...

Only punks talk from a distance and trash their former team and teammates(They will never win)...But u guys like that sort of stuff...Excuse me while I don't root for Reezy and Nate to drop buckets on us...I must be a homer ...Is this still a Knick site???

THAT IS ridiculoust... talk trash? he pretty much said what everyone has been saying.. if isiah comes back, this team will never win.. I think 100% of the fans agree with this... you are really reaching.. but honestly, he can talk trash, his team is better and they beat the knicks, so I guess he has bragging rights.....

hey nate and ariza, always hope they do well,I like both guys, no one is telling you to root for them against us and you know that is not the issue at hand, it is the carmelo insecurity that you and others go after gallo each time you feel threatened that melo is not getting any love..... i call that homerism..

Gallo was asked a question and the reporter even questioned the translation as it sounded harsh.

You really thing an organization can succeed rehiring Isiah? You think NY based Corp. who buy a ton of season tix and advertise would like the fact this guy was the root of MSG being libel in a sexual harassment suit and MSG backed him? The Isiah years were a disaster on and off the court and gallo was asked the question based on the thought if Dolan rehired Isiah.

Clyde was traded to Cleveland once upon a time. A fan would never turn his back on Clyde. Ewing was traded.

Being a Knick fan is not excuse for stupidity.

that is not a good thing.. a homer is someone who is biased.. and here is how bias is defined

Bias is an inclination to present or hold a partial perspective at the expense of (possibly equally valid) alternatives. Anything biased generally is one-sided...

so you see how his can damage your argument holfresh?

Who is going after Gallo because of Melo...NBA just changed the flopping rules which will affect Gallo's defensive strategies...Just pointing that out...Going after Melo when people bring up Lin is your M.O...

So people are actually arguing that Gallo doesn't flop or that those videos don't indicate flops?

With media and fans alike buzzing for all the wrong reasons with the rumors that Isiah Thomas may be returning to New York, a former Knickerbocker is also chiming in.
Speaking at an Italian function, former fan-favorite Danilo Gallinari recognized last week's meeting between Thomas & Knicks' owner James Dolan, and his comment (said in Italian) can be loosely translated to "Isiah Thomas back to the Knicks? That's the reason New York will never win."
One has to wonder whether Gallo was specifically knocking the job Thomas did during his tenure in the Big Apple, or simply implying that even considering bringing him back signifies New York is not an organization with a winning mentality. Either way, the sentiment is clearly the same.
The former Knicks forward's comments are still a bit surprising, not necessarily because of what he said, but that he actually said it. Most players have publicly supported Thomas despite all the twists and turns during his unsuccessful tenure.
By the time his own career in an orange and blue uniform came to an end, Gallinari was showing signs of becoming a very special player. Diversifying his game in hopes of not being pigeonholed as a "one trick pony," Gallo worked on effectively driving to the basket, successfully getting fouled again and again.
Now a member of the Nuggets, Gallinari was limited to 43 games and averaged 14.6 points and 4.7 rebounds per contest last season Despite his underwhelming finishing numbers, the forward was in fact playing like a fringe NBA all-star before succumbing to an injury right before the league's midseason break.

So, Gallo gets a pass for his comment. Novak gets a pass his comment. But Melo gets flammed for his comment. Hmmmmmmmm.....
