Hard to judge a player that way.

Lin shot a combined 34% on the road against team > .500 at home - and in MSG vs teams that were > .500 on the road.

So, which Lin would we have gotten? The one who has a good FG% against bad teams or the one who has an awful FG% against the good teams?

Lets hope we get a Felton that plays well with Amare and team.

Also Lin shot just under43% for the 7 games he played for woody. I don't see anyone pointing out that lin shot 39% for the warriors or 20% for threes.

That knee no longer has a meniscus. Lin played great for a very brief period. He and his reps signed a deal the Knicks could not match. The rockets knew what they were doing when they gave Lin almost 15 mil in year 3.

What were felton's shooting numbers after the first 2months of the season before the melo trade?

December - 13 games, 41.4% fg, 33.3% 3fg
January - 15 games, 37.3% fg, 29% 3fg
February (traded Feb 21) - 10 games, 41.8% fg, 27.5% 3fg

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

Thank You Voug. So Lin dropped to 43% under Woodson on a damaged knee while learning to play with both Amare and Melo.

oh and may I add Lin was virtually a rookie while Felton has been in the league for years and had one good month under Dantoni.

Felton had more weapons than Jeremy Lin had last year yet Lin still put up better numbers and won us more games

I am not sure that is correctly stated. Parts of meniscus are either removed or sewed back on if torn, and this was the case with Lin; if you have no meniscus you turn into Brendon Roy.

I might be mistaken but I thought they chose to remove it because the recovery time is much less. I know Chris Paul had his removed. I believe that I read that the recovery from repairing the meniscus was longer and the success rate wasn't as good. However, I am going on memory from last march.

if anything was removed, the torn part was, not the whole thing.
