Ahhh, the neverending beauty of post count/join date logic.

Pathetic, yet classic!

You don't think there's anything bizarre about a guy in his first week on the forum telling everyone else how to post? Every forum I've posted on, new people (people who are legitimately new) just try to figure out how things are run in the forum.

So you need to run up a post count in order to tell everyone how to post? Stupid is as stupid does. If you're dumb and drunk in a bar it doesn't really matter if you've been there 1 day or 40 years. Or does it?

I just find it odd and a bit goofy to be pointing at join dates and post counts on the internet as a means to validation of anything.

I've been here a long time, have lots of posts. Does that make me any more brilliant?

You, ChuckBuck, Foosball and Jmpsaq should forms new forum Trolls-R-Us. Then you can tell each other how to post all day long since no one else gives a sh!t.

Me? I just wish I wouldn't have to read this garbage every time I come here. A man can dream.

And on the "topic" of fireflies and ****roaches, I have a question: if you step on a firefly, does it feel de-lighted?

I have made friends here, lifelong friends and those will remain forever. But the place we met is being ruined.

This place has degenerated, badly. what a shame.

I just wish someone would do something about it.

Dont worry
Bklyn Nets with Deron and Joe Johnson running off their mouths Dis-sing the Knicks & NY is now theirs according to Joe Johnson
so soft and so forgotten come playoff time

Nets better worry bout their Center being healthy and making it thur a yr, plus rest of NBA East teams outside Knicks

Nets are making lots of noise about Brooklyn and being more better than Knicks, they got lots to prove and will have issues
doing so we'll be talking more about them keeping Avery Johnson's job unless Nets play .500 ball

This used to be such a lovely forum... and regardless of new trolls atack it will always be.
And I like Felton, very manageble dude and great soldier.
Will see if he can get some ball after dumping it to Melo or Amare. Or need he?

Its like some ultra conservative faction of orthodox knick fan has trolled upon us trying to legislate some moral compass to which is a permissible or not a permissible subject.

When the subject is debated as a priority and becomes the topic of debate over the initial subject repeatedly I would have to submit that kind of
activity is getting old.

I think you are trying to get others to ignore any sense of formality here. When you go to the forum index look at the sub forum titles. Knicks forum is a team forum. When you want to post net sh@t you don't select the Knicks sub forum. Also, you seem to have a fondness for the nets. One of the best team sites they I am awAre of is Netsdaily.

I follow the nets. I have friends and family that are very devoted to the nets. I also can watch almost every net game with my cable package do I watch the when the Knicks are not on. However, I don't talk nets in the KNICK forum. Start a nets thread in a sub forum and I will post net sh@t.

I'm gonna try to be polite, but give it up already. The mods disagree with you. What else is there to discuss?

If the the mods want to start a splinter reform sect and allow a Nets section on the NBA forum I suppose that option has always been there.

I subscribe that the interest of any topic is driven by the participants.

If the orthodox are really that upset about having non Knick topics on the Knick forum they should start themselves by showing leadership by and exemplifying such forum discipline as a lifestyle. Why should the Nets be any different than Boston or Philly?

How do we enforce such a rule? What do we do with those that are unbelievers? Do we allow greater leniency in the offseason? What about former players who were knicks? If we discuss Gallo, do we discuss it as a former player or as a Nugget?

Is there to be enforcement from the Mod? Or shall the Elders cast thy poster labeling them a "hater" for violation and marked for persecution? Is a confessional and forgiveness for moments of weakness to be tolerated?

Its obvious some think Melo is the savior but not everyone is convinced? With MDA "Judas" expelled can old testament tolerate the belief or can only a trip to the finals or an MVP award convince?

So many things to decide.

I could be wrong but I believe you posted that you post net stuff here because this forum has the most users/readers. Trying to integrate another team into a team specific forum doesn't make sense to me personally. I know the conversation is good here and the posters know basketball. However, this is a team specific sub forum on a site for a specific team. I don't see lots of threads about the sixers or celtics. Generally threads about other teams are limited to game threads or occassionally trade or free agent related.
