I'm glad we did not overpay for Lin. Chris Paul wants to sign here.

we'll wait, give paul a 30 year old no minuscus guard a max deal. Pauls past all star achievments vs a young guards future.

Dolan is a p*ssy who can only extropolate the past into the future but fails to see the pattern.

the nyets took on an almost 32year old joe johnson and his $98 mil. contract, gave 31 yr old wallace a $40 mil contract, $65 mil. to a center in Brook Lopez who's fractured his foot twice and what do you have to say about that? That Russian said openly that he's will to go over the cap so what do you have to day about that. He's even said that the nyets will do anything to turn knicks fans into nyets fans. I actually loved the MSG commercial when some guy said you can try to walk and talk like us but you ain't us.

I say we watch the games. Nobody said anything about the nets? YOu keep bring it up and adding Age to Joe Johnson. He just turned 31. We gave 30 year Tyson more money. We gave 100mil to Amare without insurance (has been injured). The russian said he'd go over the cap. At least he speaks.

What do I have to say about that? Just did.

Besides, who keeps bringing up the Nets? Thats your defense? Is your benchmark of success we are better than the Nets? Why you so worried about the nets??

But you're obviously a nyets lover and knicks hater.

So you are calling me a hater im confused I had the Knicks finishing 2nd behind the Heat before Dolan let Lin walk for nothing and replaced him with not Nash or Paul but Felton who has been mediocre without Dantoni. Knicks may still finish in the top 4 but I dont see how they get past miami, boston okc lakers and spurs for a title in the next 3yrs. While Linsanity goes on in Houston

tyson is more than worth his $14 mil. He's also a champion, an olympian, defensive player of the year, all star, only to name a few. He's 100% better than Lopez who's broken his foot twice and can't rebound to save his life and he got $15 mil. per year. What a difference.

Who me? I'm not the one who come on the Knicks boards praising the nyets all the time while putting the Knicks down in all the threads.

LIke I said, You keep bringing it up. Look up Tysons injury history. Tyson is offensivly challanged. I like him, but be real. You keep bringing up whose better and bringing up the Nets. We signed Amare to a big contract with no insurance. It was a big risk. Jury is still out on it all.

Thats why they play the games.

Tyson Chandler is a perfect fit next to Melo and Amar'e. He's the ideal defensive center. We don't need for him to be an offensive player. I talk about the nyets because I know how much you love them but I really couldn't care less as I've indicated many of times.

Excellent post, now read my sig. Dolan and a bunch of people here hating on Lin are cut from the same cloth. Same level of mental aptitude.

What Nalod is saying is that Dolan already has a proven track record for being the worst possible judge of value. I think anyone who agrees with him is probably around the same skill level.

If Lin does well on a bad team I expect it to continue. Lin will likely make the allstar team if the popular Chinease vote stuffs the box.

Thus, "Lin is an allstar"!

If Steve Nash stays up all night and smokes weed and is pictued with stone eye slits he might start a trend called "Linning"! Like "Tebowing" or the controversial "Planking" but it will take tweeting by storm and cause an outrage.

Then if Rockets make the playoffs for some reason Marbles statue comes down and Lins goes up in his place. China will have to occupy Taiwan so they can lay right to Lin. Its complicated, Lins parents are nationally from Taiwan but ethnically Chinease.

Waiting in the wings is Gallo's breakout season. Just when we thought it was safe to bash him. Shy Wilson has been hidden so we can't go there either.

Other topics: Darko's rise to power and AR's obscurity.

In 12 months, we can do it all again when MDA takes a new job coaching the Nets.

It will be perfect cuz obviously the nets will have underperformed under the defensive minded Avery Johnson and the notion of MDA taking over will have MDA haters almost in a oblivious state of euphoria because MDA can't even spell the word "Defense"! Phil Weber will look great in Brooklyn and maybe he can study "goodfellas" and get him a '1968 Gran Prix with a clean trunk to tool around in.

All we got to do is win a championship and we can all be saved from the day of judgement.

This is how the hate spreads. People come on here and spread things like this hoping that we will forget how good our team is and will be if they can stay healthy this coming season. Haters will be disappointed. Amar'e, learn all the moves from Hakeem Olajuwon and be sure to learn the Dream Shake so we can shut some people up. Chandler, keep doing a great job and being one of the best Centers in the NBA. Camby, thanks for coming back with great defense. You will be the 10 rebs, shot blocker that fits perfectly backing up Chandler. Thanks for coming Back Felton and we know that you are going shut some people up. Brewer, thanks for coming here and bringing great defense for cheap. J.R. you did it as well. We know you made sacrifice to come back to NY and want to be here like the others. Melo, 37 points in 14 mins? You will bring it Melo. Copeland is a poor man's Melo. Shump! We're glad you stayed and get well soon. Prigioni, you may be older but you dish like a young player. Kidd and the rest, welcome. Oh wait..how can I forget Novacane. He's lethal. We will win it all!

ITs not hate my man. Its being sarcastic toward the the hate that will come in any event. We succeed there will be hate, lose there is hate.

Take a bite of sarcasim and understand what it tastes like.

Im making fun of the hate fool!

The only hate I bring down is on Dolan.

Ok but by continuing to bring up the old reasons why people hate the Knicks, it's just so old, boring, annoying, repetitive and will only manifests into more hate. Give it up and move on. It's getting so old.

You can't hate Dolan and love the team.

Unfortunately his head doesnt cool he just looks for vengeance regardless of the consequences and what fans think. I wonder if I will live to see the day Dolan makes a trade where he doesnt get hosed. I have a lot more respect for teams like LA, San Antonio, Boston & Miami

Did Lin have his meniscus removed or repaired? I believe I read that the recovery is much faster if the meniscus is removed.

I think the forums are dominated by about 5 "haters" and 5 "apologists" with a few ass*holes like me waffling about.

FIXED!

I hate Dolan and love the Knicks.

Okay infinite, you're out of bounds and over the backboard.

Last time I checked, Jimmie don't play and he barely shows up to the games.

The Knicks are the PLAYERS, with a brief wave to the coaching staff for the basketball purists among us. Not the GM, not the hot dog vendors, not the security guards, not MSG. They don't introduce widdo Jimmy before every game, do they? Do you really wring your hands over Jimmie's portfolio and the payback on the Garden renovations before every game?

You can love the Knicks and not give two shee-hits about ownership. I don't buy Jimmie D and the Sling****s tshirts. He may even be one of the main reasons I can't stand jazz anymore.

Exactly. Those fans that say they won't follow the Knicks anymore due to a maniacal owner is ridiculous. Raiders fans had Al Davis all those years, still they bleed silver and black no matter how much they sucked on the field. The Chicago Bulls may have had one of the worst front offices with Reinsdorf and Krause, but Championships put their frugality and thriftiness in the background. You could say Steinbrenner or Mark Cuban were 2 of the most hands on blow hards in sports ownership history, but results on the field quieted alot of those distractions down. You may hate the owner, you may not go to as many games, stop buying as much Garden merchandise or stop buying James Dolan and the One Shot albums, but it's really a sad excuse to stop supporting the team you love or grew up with.
