What about Utah, Denver, Phoenix, Houston, Orlando, Philly ... 5 teams out of 30 have won since 1990. We so far, have not been one of them. It sucks, of course it does - but thats life.

ahh yes... Amare hate. Good stuff. You say Knicks are poorly run, but you fight tooth and nail to defend everything that has gone on here last couple of years. MDA, Walsh, Lin all dumped... GOOD. Yet you have never stated why you have undying and blind love for Dolan's wonderboy Melo who has accomplished zero in this league, yet you fully embrace him. Worst playoff record of any active player in the league, but he's everything Kobe is, just without the supporting cast. Funny stuff.

I thought the Walsh fiasco was awful and a testament to Dolan's dickheadedness though you and the other GM's on this board overrate him excessively - Ike, and continuous Ike - obviously retarded ...

Amare - Worst contract in the league! Nuff said.

MDA sucked - good riddance!

Lin, I wanted him back but I am not dumb enough to think that my opinion or yours for that matter is DEFINITELY the correct one - no matter how much bitching people do

Blind love for Melo? Whatever ... I just have fun pointing out the fallacies in yours and the other bobbleheads arguments. They can trade him tomorrow and I could care less - remember, I like chaos and if I were a GM, I would trade half the roster weekly just for my personal edification - but thats just me

Never said Melo was Kobe but thats exactly what you spin-losers do - SPIN. But you do it badly which is easily impeachable

CHEERS

could we just talk basketball and stop trying to pick on fights/piss continue to egg on other people for boredom, entertainment, or any other reasons.
Seriously, like 9/10 of your posts, are either defensive if different than your POV/opinions or offensive to another member on the board, looking to pick a fight/piss someone off, and its getting rather annoying.
The 1/10 that you do posts, usually are some pics/videos of some sexy ladies that are beautiful.

You get insulted another members opinion is different from your's and argue about EVERYTHING.
I was not happy about the trade for Melo because I felt it sent us backwards and Melo resembles everything that I don't want a team to be with his drama and his self centered ego.
Yes, I know you see it differently, but so do I, we don't have to argue about it everyday.

Lin is hard to let go off, there are many DIEHARD Knick fans on the board, and in those 20-30 games, we have seen the team play their best, with continuity, cohesiveness, DEFENSE, and the most unselfish basketball.
Those were all 2nd unit players, outside of Tyson Chandler and *maybe Iman Shumpert because he is a rookie after all*
It was damn exciting and I still can't stop watching bits and parts of it today.
I still remember the damn reasons why I thought they could contribute and kept posting Lin/Novak should at least play minutes and could even move up to starters on the roster.
Dantoni's stubbornness and his lack of ability to adjust, time after time, killed me during his tenure here.

My beef, was letting Lin walk for NOTHING, I do not think he is as untradeable as many of the articles suggest because of the fan and marketing he brings with him.
Yes, Lin would not be enough to bring make us championship contenders but it would AT LEAST be start of how we should play and maximize the team's abilities.

If I was GM, I would make it seem like I would trade Lin, but move Melo out to the Nets for Gereld Wallace/Kris Humphries and maybe even some picks at the deadline.
I would also send out JR Smith, packaged with another player and a future pick, for Brandon Rush, and those 2 that threw Lin out under the bus would be gone.
Hand over the keys for Lin to succeed and move out the 2 players, who had a problem with Lin's contract.

Heres defensive RonRon, have you ever made these accusations to one of your Anti Melo Minions?

I rest my case.

Just spinning in a fancier way ... with lots of sentences ... that I never read ...

He's right. You do have good insights but they're hidden in excessive, attack-style, name-calling posts.

Thats what I enjoy - attacking BS posts

you guys know that I am playing the same game as the fishmikes of the world - but you guys don't call out the posters who subscribe to your agenda. VERY UN-AMERICAN

FAIR AND BALANCED - DO IT FOR YOUR COUNTRY

I don't think I could have possibly crafted a reply that would have better illustrated the point RonRon and I were making. Maybe I would have called myself and RonRon part of the terroristic axis of evil but I'm sure that was coming in your next post anyway!

IT is annoying, this is the cliff note version for you to to understand.

What's your accusation? That people here are gentler on those they agree with? Good luck finding a message board forum where that isn't the case. That doesn't mean their comments about the posting styles of those they disagree with are wrong.

Bonn, that answer made little sense.

If I am arguing with the same style as/with posters in your camp yet you have issues with my style but not theirs and you call me out on it but not them?

You don't find that to be a bit disingenuous?

You don't think many posters on this board find you to be quite annoying? Not me BTW, I very much enjoy debating with you.

And just the other day when a poster slammed you and your style, go check to see who came to your defense.

I think with this squad as it's constructed the safe bet is 50-32 -- but it's the playoffs that really matters. The second round really isn't anything to celebrate but we have to make it there this time.

The roster is pretty set. they have 14 guys signed for 15 spots. they have literally no trade chips that can be traded until december at the earliest, unless you think amar'e, tyson, melo or shump are on the move.

i think they might add a veteran backup power forward, but will that really change this team's ceiling?

as for your other question about when their first western road trip is - the link to the schedule is in the poll itself - first western road trip is mid-November.@SAN @MEM strangely home for one game against IND then @NO @DAL @HOU

Funny how you were all for Melo last year, defending him often. But now that you perceive that the loss of the wonder boy was his fault - VENOM!!

I guess loyalty is not you best trait (outside of basketball)

Well, you don't know me then, but I left a Knicks fansite forum because too many people were flaming me for saying the Melo trade was a demise to Knicks and financially that will destroy us consider we already got a scoring forward. I left a fansite that I was for over 15 years because of how I were soooooo against Melo's trade. Now that I'm saying Jimmy Dolan gotta die (I think some people mistaken me and thought I meant killing him. He already stated he will never sell the Knicks so my only option was hoping he will die fast, preferably next month), I got a lot of criticism as well. Loyalty is not the best trait of ANY fans. Trust me, I know. I got flamed for saying the right things as a loyal fan. Nobody wants to listen to the ugly truth. You bring up the courage to tell your buddy his wife is cheating on him, guess who your buddy gonna think that has a crush on his wife?
