I can't believe even the smartest of people can sound so stupid... everyone, including NBA people keep saying he isn't worth 15 mil... well of course not, but the deal is 25 mil over 3 years... so he is basically being underpaid the first two years..

If I offer landry fields a 3 year 15 mil deal and I pay him one mil in year one, and one mil in year two.. is it fair to say he isn't worth 13 mil in year 3? he isn't getting 13 mil for year 3, he is getting his first two years money in year 3! it really isn't that hard to understand... but the same crap keeps getting spewed....

I think the majority of coaches would have been reluctant to give a guy like Lin a chance especially in a lock out shortened season. I thought Lin would be cut but the Knicks sent him to Erie and when he came back he caught a break. There was a lot of buzz here about Lin before dantoni played him.

Also, I am not sure what you are talking about with people eating their words. I am pretty sure that I have not read anyone saying they didn't want Lin back. I have read people disputing the ramifications of the Lin contract on the cap, whether melo prevented lin's return, if Lin got the poison pill put in so that he could be rocket... Etc.

Lin for sure caught a break. I mean how many teams have PG's as bad as Mike Bibby and Tony Douglas. Those 2 are nominees for worst players in the NBA.Lin probably is out of the NBA if we werent so crappy at assembling PG's.

Lin made outstanding strength and conditioning improvements over the last off-season. He would have annihilated the competition in the NBDL and would have made it back to the NBA.

It's too bad that outstanding strength and conditioning didn't help him last more than 35 games.

Chuck you really got to move on from lin. I do think hating on lin is ridiculous because the kid can play but its time to focus on the knicks now

Why, because I speak truth? Did I say something hateful? Only mentioned for all that tough offseason regiment and those snazzy youtube videos of him working on his game last year, he broke down after 35 games.

You do have a point..I Gotta believe that contributed to there thought process..

any other time, he's just a old hack. got it!

I don't agree with brown here, but I always thought he was a great coach and got sabotaged while he was here in NY.. I stand by that...
