I think he is a bum, rather have undrafted rookie

We don't need a poor version of Novak, he cannot even defend SGs or PGs as well.

Rather have veteran minimum players like Delonte West, Kapono, Anthony Tolliver, D leaguers, and Euro players.

Alex Young and Hollis Thompson

I am pretty sure Metta WOrld Peace will get amnestied, he should clear waivers, he would be a slow/strong undersized PF or slow SF.

Jerryd Bayless is the guy that a lot of teams are going to be sorry they didn't pay more attention to. He's young, athletic and shot 40% from the arc this past season.

Still amazed at how people are dying for JR Smith, after how awful he played on offense (the reason we signed him) this past season, yet we say good riddance to Toney Douglas. We need someone a lot more efficient from our SG position.

He is a younger much more athletic Barbosa.

I read some where he didn't get alot of offers either. but for 2.8 mill for one yr, can beat that, he's definitly worth it + some..

If he goes down before shump gets up, were so screwed, will be playing melo @ the 2..

This may sounds strange, but if the Knicks wanted to, and after they complete deals for Kidd and Camby, could they match Fields if they wanted to? and sign JR to $2.8M?

They could still match Fields but that would be bad for business- that contract is going to be an albatross.

it would have been interesting if the Knicks did a S&T of Fields for a 1-year deal on Bayless.
