I think Lin is much more important because we saw from this season that having a real good young pg like lin makes this team have a better feel offensively. Im surprised so many people are now down on lin just because he got injured. injuries happened and plus it wasn't a creer threatening injury

I mostly agree. He is nice to have with Stat and Lin out as he can create his shot anytime. But his lapses are too much, well not for what he is getting paid though. I say we look to draft the best defender with a shot when our selection comes up. From watching the playoffs, Miami in particular, defense rules and all comes off it.

ya he played better than i thought he would but like you said he has lapses like he ha sin the playoffs

Ah... what else is new? It seems like Knicks and many NBA teams for that matter only know one solution to their woes.

Problem: player had one bad game
Solution: trade the player

Problem: team played one bad game
Solution: trade players and/or coach

Problem: team lost a few games
Solution: trade players and/or coach

Problem: player injured on the floor
Solution: trade the injured player

LOL! The problems can be different but it seems that people only know one solution: TRADE. Just look at different forums and see how many trade posts are there.

I wouldnt waste the MLE on JR Smith. he wasnt that great and didnt do anything in the playoffs. i think Lin and Novak are better to focus on.
