Again, give HEat the credit they deserve.

They played great. Their stars got ball movement and it all starts with Defense.

Put the personalities aside and look at what they did on the court.

Lebron with fresh legs came in the 4th period and just did what the best player on the planet does.

Our guys were gassed.

Reasons are plenty.

They gave Novak nothing. They were took Smiths jumper away. They exhausted Melo and our ball movement was crap. Our points could not break anything down.

At full strength we hvae the talent to take two from them.

Fault and Blame? You guys are full of it aren't you?

No camp, short season, coach trying to save job, incomplete roster, late additions not all in synch, Amare's back and brother, No point to start season, coach change, injuries, etc.

The good was plenty. Linsanity, winning streaks, NovacKane and Defense! Thru a phucked up drama filled season we still made the playoffs.

We had the misfortune of getting the wrong team at the wrong time. Fate is cruel.

Gimme Shump, Lin and Amare and I don't think we get swept, but I don't think we win either.

Miami is damn good and maybe better in the playoffs!

Amare's knees or retina were not the issue this year. Two down and three to go.

Yes, there is no excuse for what we have seen this playoffs. Not from a team that overcame all their issues to post a 18-6 record and secured a playoff berth, taking the luxury of playing a stinker in Cleveland and losing a chance at #6 seed. Not from a team that had Stoudemire back. Not from a team that said they had enough to take the Heat. Yeah, said, because for years, all this culture of high expectations and then good excuses has turned us into all talk and no show. If you still had hope after the first two losses, then last night might have given you reasons to simply stop being a fan.

Toney Douglas
Landry Fields
Carmelo Anthony
Amare Stoudemire
Tyson Chandler

And the predictions were that we were a .750 team that would put up a big challenge for the Heat.

See, for example, this:

Or for a discussion of how Melo owns Lebron, see this:

So predictions is what makes a team a winning team. Heck, I predict the Knicks win it all next year!

Give the Celtics all the credit. They were the better team by far. They simply had too much experience and savy for us, a young team still knowing ourselves. Tough break on Billups and Amare. But that is why the Celtics won a championship. They knew exactly how to...

Yada, yada, yada.

I guess that after all our losing seasons, all the hope we had turned into this, a team that will keep giving the credit to the opposing team, while never giving their whole effort and grinding out wins.

Knicks are just going to have to make some trades to properly balance the roster. Good thing is this time we have players with positive trade value.
