I think this team needs another year to gel with the current lineup if possible, with hopefully some tweaks here and there. We've had terrible luck with injuries. There are certainly other issues having to do with coaching, etc., but isn't it more likely that we've met a better team when we're far-below full-strength? Well Chandler played so don’t give me this thing about being sick, a lot players are not 100% healthy these days, but they still play, so good for Chandler.

1. Chicago Bulls lost Rose and is not about whether they go far or not, instead it is about how they regroup as a team and still play hard and smart regardless of the adversity.

2. Orlando, lost Howard (or he checked out earlier, whatever) this team with little talent was able to steal home court advantage and win game one against the Pacers.

3. Memphis lost Zach Randolph (arguably their best player) for most of the season and still end up with home advantage in the first round.

4. Atlanta lost Al Harford (arguably their best player) for the entire season and still finished with home court advantage in the first round.

5. Clippers lost their starting shooting guard Billups and just lost their starting small forward Caron Butler, yet they just pulled one of the biggest comebacks in recent history.

You see, I’m not expecting the Knicks to win the series against the Heat, however, after all the improvement they showed in the last 24 games, I was expecting better from them, instead right now we are playing again like it is the first game of the regular season, with no identity defensively or offensively. Enough with the excuses, this is the playoff man.

Chicago is not Playing Miami, and this is a testament to how good Chicago is that Rose goes out and they are still great. Do we have their depth? Size?

Orlando is playing Indiana not Miami and are going nowhere without Howard (though I am rooting like heck that they do)

Memphis - we overcame far more than Memphis do get where we are. How good is their psyche when you get outscored 27-3 to lose at HOME!!

Atlanta has great guard play and depth - they too are not playing Miami

Clippers - Chris Paul, Blake Griffin - nuff said

Heck! Chicago lost Michael Jordan and still made it to the ECF and if not for a bad call they woulda won it all! Wanna know why? Because without Jordan, they were still great!

18-6 is great but we did not beat Miami at home during that stretch. Schedule is needed to grasp context - does Linsanity prove that we could go into Miami and play well? Of course not because the Linsanity schedule stunk!

None of the teams you mentioned can be compared to the knicks and what they are dealing with.

Really why? because teams lost their best player and still win games, yet we can't even be competitive with our best player being 100% healthy and clearly being out play.

And why are you bringing Linsanity now? He is not playing my friend, he is not the one shooting 36% FG, nor is he the one that punched an extinguisher, damaged his hand and is out for the rest of the series. Move on.

As far as Chicago making it to the ECF, they had Pippen a true difference maker.

Disagree, this Knick team with Rose replacing Melo would be one of the best in the league, can you imagine Rose and Shumpert in the backcourt?
Also, the front court would not be too crowded either, plus Rose is a leader, arguably the best at his position and a MVP candidate. So the Knicks hands down.

Well Chicago won a game, which is all I'm asking from this Knicks team, you know what? Not even that, just give me a better series even if it break my heart in the last few minutes, at least that will tell me that we are getting close.

And what about Boston last night?
They lost their starting center Jermaine O’Neal during the season, no Ray Allen, no Rondo, and no bench, yet they won a game in Atlanta. See we are not the only ones with major injuries to key players.

Its a good point.

We have the one team not hurt by injury and is playing with a serious hard on to win.

Add the best player on the planet and a top five SG who can play in the paint and we got a serious problem.

We buckled in the regular season. StarMelo's personal agenda with MDA did not help our injury situation. The cleveland game really pisses me off.

It also hurt Woodson. Move to the 6th and win a series perhaps gets him the gig.
