The Cats are still in it at 86-92. They stink so bad that even when the Magic are serving a win up, they can't take advantage of it. This is a good game from the Cats tho.

Lousy DJ Augustin and Kemba Walker. The Cats playing on perimeter D and the Magic popping 3's. I think it's over now.

I guess we cant blame the cats our team took many winnable games off earlier in the season and even a few later in the season when woody took over

Even against them! Agreed, too many games we wasted to get upset about one of the final two. This team (Charlotte) deserves to go down as the worst in history. Eck.

It was a long shot. 18-24 killed this team. The team had to play at such a high rate just to make the playoffs.

More like 2-8 killed us. That 10 game stretch is what made the last part of the season so much harder than it had to be. They may not have been able to do much at the start of the year when STAT and Melo weren't really in great shape and TD was horrid, but after Linsanity the team was in a good spot and getting healthy. That 2-8 stretch was not what the team needed at that time.

I think the 2-11 run in January was the dagger personally.

Yup. 8-15 record before Linsanity happened. Bad losses to Toronto, Charlotte, Cleveland doomed their seeding chances.

Nah. Not when you get that back and have a chance to go over .500 with everyone coming back healthy. The early stuff was bad, but understandable, since STAT and Melo were off their game and we didn't have a PG. Heck Melo didn't get his offensive game back until March 28th. From that game forward he's been on fire, but before that he struggled offensively. I'll give him a break since it could've been health related, but that 10 game stretch when he came back was a brutal let down after the team had fought back to a high level of play.

Playoff teams don't lose at that rate. The two losing stretches mentioned account for a 4-19 record. This team was buried before Woodson.
