I just want to say...that when I saw Houston sitting behind the bench...my first thought was, don't really remember seeing him travel with the team for a road game before.....then my second thought was...I bet he's working with Fields. After seeing one shot from Fields that confirmed it for me....wasn't surprised at all to see Fields credit Houston in the post game...dang I'm good!!!!! I called that one from the couch :)

Good point. I remember seeing thinking what the heck is he doing behind the bench. I thought maybe he was giving Amare support for chronic injuries (coming from another player who handcuffed the crap out of us for a number of years)

allan houston may have found his calling as a shot doctor. he's done great work with landry and iman at various points of this season:

Seth Rosenthal ‏ @seth_rosenthal
From that last post: Iman Shumpert hit 26% of his threes before working with Allan Houston in late March. He's 21-54 (39%) since.

My good friend Mr. Fields pickup your dictionary. You need to learn what an arc is.

Posting and Toasting mentioned this and that since Houston worked with Shump he has been shooting 39% for threes. Houston is the son of a coach and was an amazing shooter. If he could come in and help guys like Fields he would be a tremendous asset to this team.

If good shooting were that simple, we'd have a lot more and better pure shooters in the league. Your entire body is involved in shooting and the good shooters have a grasp on how to use it and the great shooters have mastered it.

You right I am simplifying shooting, for me just comes naturally. It's good to see, Landry took the advice and used his elbow more and stopped that ridiculous flicking of the wrist.

I cannot believe they teach those type of debating skills at Stanford.

The boy obviously misses his Lin. I smell JR's influence here.

And that's a good thing.

This ain't an embroidery class, and the playoffs will be that much more intense.

Go Landry.
