Already hyped for tonight's showdown... Hey, apparently, D. Rose hurt his ankle on Easter Sunday while playing against us:

CHICAGO -- Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose spent Monday in a walking boot after injuring an ankle during Sunday afternoon's game against the New York Knicks and is uncertain for Tuesday night's rematch, according to a league source.

On top of that, OKC spanked the Bucks... and the slipping Sixers play the Nets tonight. The Nets have been winning a few game recently, so if they beat Philly tonight, that helps us out in the playoff race.

Boston also plays Miami tonight, so since they can't both lose, let's hope that the Celts, who are leading our division now, takes the L and makes the 4th seed more attainable for us. We can get the 4 spot in our clutches with enough wins (and BOS racks up some more losses).

Go, Knicks!

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

If we are going to be 7th or higher, we want Miami get the 1 seed so we don't have to deal with them in the 1st round. They're going to be on a mission. I don't want any part of them in round 1.

Fuck it, catching Philly is more realistic but I want the division!

catching philly means facing miami. catching boston means facing indiana. i'd rather catch boston.

I dunno. Boston is playing some good ball. Indiana was tough last year in the playoffs too. Don't you want Orlando??

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

Boston always seem to have our number. If we face them and Pierce or Allen hit another dagger 3, I'm jumping out the window. Orlando, ATL, or Indiana are better matchups.

I understand where you're coming from, but I have to say this...

Miami can lose to the Knicks like anyone else can. They're not invincible.

In fact, since it is Miami, I'd love to see this gritty Knick team mow through them. It's not like we haven't kicked their butts before when they had honmecourt in the 1st round, anyway.

The Knicks have too long and ugly a history with the Miami Heat to ever act like we should fear them. Maybe some of the newer fans can't grasp that, but those of us who remember the wars should feel where I am coming from.

KNICKS. NO FEAR. Bring anyone come playoff time, and we'll CRUSH them.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

miami is gonna be on a mission, but make no mistake, they don't wanna see the Knicks. the top seeds would all rather see the pacers, sixers, hawks or even orlando before they see us.

True that, bruh. These playoff teams have gotten the memo, as they see the NYK already playing "playoff" defense.

The Knicks play Miami once more before the end of the regular season, IIRC. That needs to be a Knicks win, too.

I really dont think it will be Miami. They will pass the bulls in the standings especially after the knicks win tonight. It will most likely be chicago or indy in the 1st round. Just like the good ol days

Before Sunday, I would have been thrilled just by taking 1 of 2 from the Bull****s. But I want to see how battle ready this team is. Chicago is going to be angry, and even without Rose, they're a great team.

Won the back-to-back vs. Indy. Took 2 games from Orlando in a week. Let's step on the Bulls throats and show them that they don't want to play us in the first round.

Knicks win 94-88.
28 for Melo, Novak and JR heat up from the outside and combine for 36.

Newsflash for ya' ...if we can take this game tonight in Chicago after beating them Sunday....with or w/o Rose I don't give a damn ...if we can win this game I firmly believe they can beat ANY team in the East. OKC? well ....we'd get 17 back by then hopefully.

Rose warmed up and is now a game time decision.

I think they listed it as Shumpitis. The cure is to avoid playing people named Shumpert, should be just fine 5 minutes after the game has completed.
