If you really believe that Isiah will only be a talent evaluator...or a PR person then you are not facing reality. This is serious.

But worse than the possibility of having Isiah back is the fact that our owner is actively courting Isiah to come back.

i mean, his college teammates - grunwald and woodson - are the gm and coach. grunwald was his gm in toronto. darrell walker was his coach in toronto and is our assistant coach now. i don't know how he could have more influence, really.

1. Jim Dolan is in closet with Isiah. Now Isiah can come back to Jim's warm wet bed once again and I bet Isiah's stain is still on Jim Dolan's pillow.
2. Donnie did all that work and Jim destroyed it with the Melo trade. Donnie lost interest in even continuing and Jim was nice enough to keep paying him but refuse any of Donnie's wise input
3. Isiah always had huge influence on Jim's decision, whether Isiah officially works for Knicks or not.
4. Donnie's rebuilding Knicks was a great strategy, brilliant even.
5. Jim Dolan is the dumbest, most arrogant, ignorant and impotent NBA owner of all time.
6. Phil Jackson will NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER work for the Knicks, because he's just not that desperate knowing Jim Dolan will pull an Isiah's manhood on Phil, like how he did with Donnie.

What did Walsh really do during his tenure. The guy is overrated beyond belief. He signed Amare to that uninsured deal. Drafted Jordan Hill. Traded future picks and Hill to dump Jefferies.

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

+1 Even at the height of my Isiah hatred I always credited him for his eye for talent. As lomg as he is kept out of a position of authority it should mot be a big deal. That way he cant further embarass the team and drag it through the mud. The knicks cant be stupid enouhh to make him gm now. Fans will revolt. Oh and Grunny has been phemomenalthis year

Ughh, my eyes, the pain. I cannot believe you said that. Knicks are back? Fields? Shumpert? CAP SPACE ? Where have you been the last few years? "Under the bridge" is still one of my favorite songs, just can't go wrong with it.

i loved what walsh did for the team... but in hindsight, grunwald did a LOT in less than one season: tyson, lin, novak, jr smith, baron, etc.

i'm fine with grunwald and woodson leading the team. having isiah potentially back in the fold feels icky... but almost appropriate. sigh. this team.

in fairness, grunwald had the luxury of making those moves because of the work that walsh put in.

Interesting that he wasn't reassigned. I wonder if Amare continues to workout there in the offseason.

LOL. Busted!

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

You have to admit it though that Grunwald was able to do all this due to what Donnie has already put in place. Donnie had to clean up a lot of crap from the Popcorn man era.

I agree about Walsh setting the stage for Grunwald to make the moves that he did. However, if Woodson can't get the Knicks to overcome the poor start they had and they miss the playoffs again it is another blemish on Walsh's resume because the McGRady first round pick becomes a lottery pick.

Another blemish ? How about if Zeke was to return, there would be noone in the league who could have done a better job curbing Zeke's mess the second time around

It's not weird ****. Many gay guys do this daily. You just don't realize how much Jim wants Isiah in bed, nightly. Jim sucks a mean cuck.

At least Jim Dolan will guarantee you he'll make Isiah's manhood invisible, once he's got the whole thing in that tight mouth of his.
