And no, I'm not going to give much attention to a 5 game sample (good or bad). If he plays like this for the rest of this season and the first half of next season, I'll give it attention. And what would you like to discuss about Amare?

people ask him to play like the player Knicks sign him up for by bringing up past numbers that appear to be bad. he does start to play like a top-tier player, people still bring up past numbers but don't give him credit for present numbers..he's obviously coming around now

Kind of like he was obviously an improved 3 point shooter on the Knicks last year. You can't tell much about a player's future from a 5 game stretch no matter how tempting it is to read a lot into it. I'm seeing him make the same mistakes on offense he made all year, which leads me to expect his numbers to return to his career average.
