Much worse than anything Melo "did or did not do" involving MDA's departure. Dwight stone faced lied in front of SVG's face and the media then he lolligagged it the whole Knicks game (0 pts in the 1st half). At least Melo made an attempt to make it work with MDA, Dwight just didn't give a Fark.

I have no problem with Dwight want him fired and/or discussing it with management. That happens everyday with many stars. Was Shaq any different? Kobe? Magic? ...........

SVG was classless in the way he handled it. MDA had more class than that and I respect him for that.

I do have a problem with DHoward coming out tonight and laying an egg. That showed that he is missing that superstar killer instinct. He shoulda killed it tonight with angst!

I don't blame SVG for acting like this, he's always getting dealt a **** hand, whether in Miami undermined by Riley or here getting shafted by Dwight. Dwight showing his true colors this whole season, between the trade me to A, B, or C team, to no I'm staying, to I'm leaving again, to I'm signed for another season, to going behind SVG's back to get him fired. This happens I know, but shows what a fugazi selfish prick "superstar" he is.

He is a bitch. And I would not want him on my team after this years soap opera, but, SVG committed a no-no.

They had 5 successful years together and it's time to move on. Happens.

Wow. Howard is an @ss. It appears that he and Jameer Nelson have no respect for SVG. Stan handled that very well. Howard showed his true face today and it was not pretty. The Magic need to handle him like the Jazz handled D-Will. That clip buries the guy. He just passed LBJ as the most clueless, classless guy playing ball. Stan did a good job of getting out in front of this and pinning it on Howard where it belonged. If I am Otis Smith I am on the phone with the Nets and Mavs already and I am also looking to move Jameer. Unbelieveable. No mstter what happens to SVG. the Magic need to move Howard.

They will allow him to pick a coach and get an extension out of him.

They need to trade him to the Swamp Dragons after D-Will goes to Dallas.

You're wrong. The Magic need to do whatever it takes to improve the team around Howard and fire SVG.

Howard is a clown in so many ways, and SVG is also a clown..they both are circus acts..

But it would be assine to fire him 11 games left to a season with the playoff around the corner, Ewing ain't ready, and never will be

What DH did at the end of the game, smiling and cheer leading for the fans to applaud the Knicks is the most classless, scumbag thing I have ever seen on an NBA court. Two bit piece of **** if ever there was one.

The Magic are floundering. Orlando has to make a decision. Side with their star player or with their coach......Good-bye SVG.

There is a lot wrong with this type of thinking. I understand about the financial implications but if you let that tarnish the product the eventually your franchise becomes a joke. See Knicks in the pre Walsh era. If I was ORL I would tell DH to go home, and do whatever he wants but he can't play basketball professionally for the duration of his contract. Like what we did with Curry. No trades, no buyouts, and no talking to the media.

Pandering to these losers has gone way out of control and is the root cause behind why people like Lebron and Dwight think the way they do.

agreed. if the magic are trying to please howard and build around him, that's what they need to do. SVG is a good coach, but dwight has the ability to make a lot of coaches look good.

There is no doubt that the reason why Dwight waived his opt out clause was because they promised him that SVG would be history

I learned from the MDA-Melo War that Superstars have minds of children and you have to treat them like children.

Dwight staying home wouldn't solve anything. Maybe if they make a statue of Dwight in front of the arena he will be happy for a while.

Stan has pride and he is fed up. A coach can only take but so much. All world max players take some responsibility for whats going on. Dwight is trying to please EVERYBODY and that is cowardice.

What Stan did was not right. Who ever told Stan in management about Dwights request is wrong. And Dwight is just handling the whole thing very wrong.

He has eclipsed Lebron and Melo as the biggest *******. At least Lebron was always upfront about most things despite being a complete attention whore. Lebron made two mistakes which was not being cool with his owner who gave Lebron too much power and of course "the Decison". Melo and Denver I think were pretty upfront about each others intentions and together were able to get what they wanted.

Mr. Waffles Howard is being a complete immature ******* who I believe WITHOUT MALICE is in reality ****ting all over every body. The fans in orlando have to be disgusted with him, his owner by trying to placate him is actually enabling, and has positioned the GM, coach and the assistant coachs as well.

LIke Lebron, he is rushing the team to make trades to "WIN NOW" but it hurts them long term. He can't hit foul shots, gets into foul trouble, can't control his emotions (technical fouls) and is not a finisher in crunch time.

Orlando is really perfect for the guy. Lots of amusement parks and this clown fits right in with the "FUN" tourist trade that is Orlando.

Yes there is a lot wrong with that type of thinking but it is what happens in the world of pro basketball. This should have been dealt with and resolved privately. It probably started out private but now everyone looks bad.

MDA and Dolan did work it out privately and MDA left with some level of honor. Orlando is a mess.

Why would any coach go to the media and tell them that the star players wants him "fired"? What good does that do ANYONE? Even the guy from the front office who probably told him (what D12 said) in confidence has to be pissed. Not to mention, he said he's known this info all season. Why now Stan? Your team is about to go to the playoffs! Players note that if they come to the Magic and have a meeting with management in confidence (about ANYTHING), they'd be snitched on. Not a good look for the organization neither.

And in Van Gundy's case he actually went PUBLIC. He went to the media. Who's going to trust that? There is enough blame to go around here. Even with the Melo-D'Antoni situation we have no clue what was said behind closed doors. All men involved kept it in-house. With 12 games left in the season I honestly don't see why SVG went public at this point. Has he lost the team? Sure! But even Shaq said that players were not totally respecting Stan in Miami so it was a must that Riles took over. I think D12 is childish. I also think Stan is very very childish. He's acting like a scorned woman.

As a matter of fact it was just a season or two ago when he was complaining about refs and he went on to publicly berate Stern. Now, I will be the first to say that I am not nor ever will be a Stern fan. However, what good did he do the team (and organization) by going against the actual guy who is the commissioner? AND PUBLICLY AT THAT! He goes to the media. I remember they fined that guy a lot of $$$ and he shut his mouth. He has a bad habit of going to the media with stuff for no good reason and making bad situations WAY worse. If I'm a player thinking about coming to Orlando (or any team SVG would be coaching), I wouldn't trust the SVG player/coach relationship at all.

I'm not a Howard fan but if he was asked what would make him stay and he eluded to his play and SVG's coaching not meshing, he has every right. SVG was told by a snitch of a front office person and now he is acting like a scorned woman. Smh Terrible.

Woah, Monk! You're throwing this pile of dung on SVG! Dwight is the root of everything, you can't shift blame.

The point is that Dwight is running crazy like a little kid.
